Has a videogame ending ever made you cry?
Has a videogame ending ever made you cry?
FFX when i was about 12
Only a small tear tho, still sad as fuck
This game right here. Not a sad ending. It is so ridiculously happy I had to cry
>This game right here. Not a sad ending. It is so ridiculously happy I had to cry
Forgot pic
I was autistic enough to explore almost every nook and cranny of Hollow Knight before facing the Black Egg, so I had a LOT of context as to what was going on in the last boss fight
It was great. I didn't cry because I was particularly sad, but it was definitely emotional and made me tear up for sure
Death Stranding
Outer Wilds
Disco Elysium
Never cried, but MGS4 'Snake had a hard life' and some bits of Mother 3 made me a bit sad.
>Game has a tragic ending of loss
>Don't feel a thing
>Game ends on a bittersweet and beautiful note
>Tear up like a baby
Why does this happen to me?
TWD s1
Life is strange
FFX i'm pretty sure but it was a long time ago
Youre a sociopath
some of you are way too easily emotionally manipulated
I've never straight up cried but a few games made me tear up in places. RDR2 and GoT are the ones I can think of in recent memory
Mah nigga
To the Moon broke me.
was kinda melodramatic
TLoU I
I'll admit I got choked up at MGS3. A good music score always gets to me, MGS3's was on point.

Please keep Toontown, it's really fun
muv luv alternative
I agree, but having all the details slowly come together, then the big reveal(s) and Johnny getting his wish in the end really makes an impact on a first play through.
I never understood why people found TLOU 1 sad, the game setting itself is pretty depressing but the story itself isn't really that bad. Tess, Chloe, Henry and Sam weren't really around long enough to make it feel impactful when they died

Probably one of the very few times I've actually bawled out over a video game. Im not a huge TWD fan, but the ending of season one really got to me.
FF7 (many good jrpgs come close), journey, Alundra
dino crisis 2 when I was a little dumbass kid and couldn't understand english, also rdr1 I guess but it wasn't at the ending, it was afterwards watching a video with that part with some song I think
Yes fuck Micah
I don't know why but when I was a 15 I cried at the ending for kingdom hearts 2, I couldn't even tell if it was because of the 6 boss battles in a row or the story had my angst all in a sperg.
On a serious note first time I played silent hill 2 I got the car ending and that thing fucked me up on a way deeper level than some tears
btw journey wasnt a sad crying it was a crying because the entire final of that game made me soo goddamn happy i borderline got a high from it.
Dunno about endings but this made me cry youtube.com
Portal 2 ending when you go up with the elevator.
I don't know why but i cried and cry everytime i hear that song.
When they danced in the dark at the end of the credits, I felt that.
haven't yet, but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was the most recent one that almost had me. I disliked the fanservice shit, but with the second half of the game being a fucking rollercoaster of a ride and the damn music made it really touching.
This one was a tear jerker for sure. Not really the story, but the passion you felt that was poured in it. The music, the character designs, the fun and creative levels, the progress it made while staying true to the originals. You play it for hours and hours, perfecting every single level, and et the end the realization hits you; You just beat the game. You will never play this for the first time again. And I just fucking broke down and sobbed. This game is a fucking masterpiece
Is this a thread about shit that fucked them up?
Only Doom 1.
crying over media is super fucking faggy
nothing anyone will try to tell me for example that I'm some badass or something will work
it just is super fucking faggy and pathetic
>FF7
aw yeah, and the last part of the final song with the zooming out is fucking powerful as hell.
Not video games, but I finally read all of Girl’s Last Tour last week and that really tore me up.
FF15
shame it does not save that shitty game
Just wait for Verum Rex(in 2032)
NieR Automata's and Death Stranding's mainly
same, the ending and the stargazing when they were kids destroyed me
Ghost Trick
Mother 3
that letter at the end, I couldn't handle it
Don't remember crying on any game, but the ending of Persona 3 hit me like a truck.
