G-Great.

Nothing beats 1kat.
In boringness?
Let me fix what you mean.
>start with the switchglaive and get most of it's skills
>Now all other weapons I have no skills for are boring.
There you go. No need to thank me.
>curbstomp every human with infinite combos
>get curbstomped by every yokai with super armor
It's all about the tonfas baby.
Give it time. Every weapon is extremely fun when you learn how to use them.
>get Kannagi
>dodge out of everything and style on a yokai's every attack
I do love me some tonfas.
I like switchglaive but every single attack bounces off if an enemy blocks, I just go back to axe where nothing bounces. It just wastes so much time that its not worth using it on humans.
>Most flexible, varied and largest array of skills and viable build types
>boring
Nah bruv
>Sekiro did the "middle ages Japan Souls-like" better
>Ghost of Tsushima did the "middle ages Japan historical fiction adventure" better
>Mortal Shell and Hellpoint did the "Souls-like of 2020" better
Why are you still playing Nioh 2? It's not like you're out of options; there are actually good games to play.
I want to make a yokai shift build so bad but it takes so much effort to make bros
Now play splitstaff and have every other weapon ruined for you all over again
i'm bored and running out of games
What's kannagi?
What is the point of Sword of mediation?
IA Quickdraw does equal damage without getting hit while slowly walking
fpbp
That doesn't justify playing garbage like the Nioh series, user.
Have some dignity.
All of those have worse weapons and combat systems.
Don't reply to shitposters
so your time is totally worthless or why do you feel the need to post in threads for garbage games?
Axe and odachi are the only weapons that have standard mid stance attacks not bounce, but every weapon doesn't bounce on high stance or skills, it's just a matter of forcing them to block then setting up for attacks to punish it which is it's own fun game. Also you can actually swap to high stance before an attack connects to prevent bouncing if you're quick enough. youtube.com
It's one of the tonfa's Mystic Arts. It lets you cancel out of any skill using Demon Dance. Completely transforms the weapon.
does nioh 2 finally have good level design?
kind of bummed me out they sort of didn't even try in the first game
I use the damage mystic art for tonfas, should I switch to kannagi? It has some pretty bad tracking and I think wild lions has screwed me a couple times, being able to cancel out of animations seems really good.
Also why does it have two hold triangle to do a punch skills? There’s one that’s universal and one for high stance. Does one focus on ki damage and the other pure damage?
It absolutely does not and I don't know how you could get confused by that. Sword of Meditation is uninterruptible for the entire animation and does at least twice the damage of Iai at full charge, while matching it around two steps in. It's a meme skill but with some real firepower behind it that makes it far less of a meme than it appears.
Because the Sengoku era is better than the Kamakura era
It’s better...but still pretty constricted/cramped. It still feels more like a dungeon crawler with enemies every 5 feet. Seems like an engine limitation, they probably want to keep frame rates as high as possible. Though the ninja gaiden games didn’t have this problem and nioh/2 run on the same engine.
there is at least 1 level that is straight up copy&pasted from 1
1's level design wasn't particularly bad, but 2's blows it out of the water entirely. The only issue remaining is enemy placement or lack thereof, but even that can be fixed if you do Expeditions (a co-op mode) solo.
It's entirely up to you. Apocalypse does add a lot of raw damage but Kannagi is extremely fun as it adds more to utility to the weapon and allows you to go for higher damage skills since you can cancel out if necessary. It's not like it's a hard commitment either way though, you can swap between the two freely and skill points are not at all that hard to come by.
I assume you're talking about Focused Strike and Storm of Strikes, but I don't remember either of them being exclusive. The differences are pretty much how they look on the surface, if you try them out.
> game about sengoku era
> be poortugay weeb
> poortugay, the most relevant western country that was dealing with japan at the time and basically the reason why they closed their country to all westerners
> get ignored again because we're irrelevant now
Yasuke is present. You sold him to Nobunaga right?
In some levels there are also Mediterranean styled houses, they probably belonged to Portuguese merchants.
Unfortunately your priests didnt leave a nice impression.
Any kusarigama nigga here? So far I find it the most versatile weapon.
How high can Onryoki helmet stack? Is it worth it using over a active skill damage roll?
Onmyo or Ninjutsu?
Gotta love when fedora weebs praise Japan for purging Christians.
