Did they mix it up? This game looks like fortnite with a batman skin and deadshot was 100% a white guy in the previous arkham games?
the other one with batgirl and robin takes place after batman "dies" just like arkham knight and batgirl has her wheelchair and the oracle tower in the game. They had to have mixed it up right? It doesnt make sense logically whatsoever.

Gotham Knights is NOT part of the Arkhamverse. I blame marketing for people being confused about this.
This is a new universe. Jim Gordon died years ago while Bruce was still active, Jason has a huge scar and a Lazarus streak in his hair. So this isn't connected to the Arkham games.
The explosion you guys hear about in the beginning is something that happens to Bruce in the city (most likely by the Court). The world doesn't know he's Batman. There's plenty of hints in the dialogue and what's happening in the trailers, but this isn't in the Arkhamverse. It might have some easter eggs towards those events, some of those may even be canon in this universe, but it's completely original.

It doesnt make sense though and there marketing is doing a terrible job. It looks like a sequel game and has a number of elements that would indicate its in the same universe mainly the art style, barberas wheelchair and the oracle tower and batman dying.
They did just about as bad of a job as you could possibly do to indicate that the SS is the sequel. It looks nothing like the Arkham games art wise while Gotham Knights looks like a direct sequel visually and story wise.

The art style in GK is completely different to AK. Way more colorful and not as realistic and rough. Also, Jason doesn't have J on his left cheek, Alfred is still around and Freeze is alive. Doesn't look or feel like a sequel at all.
People just got hung up on the beginning of the trailer. "OMG, explosion that "killed" Batman, that must be completely unique to Arkham Knight so it's a sequel!" Then they ignored the rest of the trailer.

I don't remember that. I remember Nora not wanting to go back into cryo and wanting to die with Victor, as in live out her final days with him, not the two of them dying together. Mostly because I don't see Nora wanting Victor to kill himself along side her. She'd want him to live.
