I just started trying to watch this show again (first time I only got to ep 4). It sucks ass. Every episode is: Hurr, steven does something incredibly stupid. Either is miraculously goes well, or it doesn't and everything just kinda ignore what a giant retard he is. Absolute trash,

It's real formulaic until the tail end of season 1 when actual plot starts unfolding. Season 2 is pretty consistently good, then imo the show kinda shat the bed after the season 3 premiere and never really recovered. They tried to keep the plot ball rolling by having one interesting episode between like 6 episodes of pointless SoL shit, and it just killed the momentum. When it was airing you had to wait like 6 months for every chunk of episodes, it was hell.
