yep

how do you break the habit?

you do it tonight

No more cramped little fingers in stealth games, ESDF gives a natural spacing to let control

I need longer shift for ESDF.

hmu mr big hands

>no ability to F to pay respects
yeah no thanks

My issue is ctrl, it's not comfortable and I always rebind it to c for crouch.

Is it awkward switching stances to type?

even among hipsters there's always the one hipster who's more special than the others

>not HATE
manlet hands confirmed

>tfw pushed myself so far J is my home key
don't start boys. it's like smoking. seems cool at first suddenly you only know how to type one handed and your hand has to be on your mouse or your dick

The only thing I'd be worried about is when I play FPS's that use the number keys. Stuff like TF2 choosing weapons or disguises.

you still have wsx if qaz is too much of a stretch

It seems no one got the joke

I got it, but it doesn't even matter

I use NSDAP.

I'm rdfg because the s and w keys on my laptop keyboard are broken and I can't be bothered to have them fixed

ESDF means that you have to rotate your hand to access ctrl. Perhaps if I played games that require more inputs, but in our average run of the mill FPS there is no point.

i find keyboard uncomfy often because my fingers lock up

>have to manually remap every key in every game you ever play just so you can flex to some bots on a taiwanese fishing forum

I'm good thanks

In 2002, I bought Neverwinter Nights. I had used WASD up until that point, but being an online RPG, NWN required a lot of typing, so I'd need to rapidly switch back and forth between typing and moving. I'd often "miss" and end up on the wrong keys, so I decided to just learn ESDF so my left hand fingers would always stay on "home row." It took maybe a month before I got completely used to it.

ESDF is certainly superior; I've never accidentally pressed the windows key because I don't use CTRL for anything. I think the only big problem with it is that on cheap keyboards, you might run into rollover issues where you can't press A + W + E + (S or F) at the same time. Also, I have to use Autohotkey to rebind keys for games that don't have key rebinding. It's usually indie games, but sometimes major releases (like Fallout 4 for a few months) also don't have proper key rebinding.
My setup:
ESDF - move
A - crouch
W - use
Q - last weapon
ZXCVB - misc stuff
R - reload
T - flashlight
G - grenade or drop item
shift - sprint
space - jump
