Should they make a new inFAMOUS, remaster the old ones, or leave them be?

Obviously make a new one.
The old ones are very playable even today.
By the way: “Half as long...”
I say leave it be. The made an amazing original game but couldn't capture the same thing in the sequels. Sounds like they hit it out the park with ghosts of tshima so no point going backwards.
if sony wasn't shit they would just have backwards compatibility like The One has
>The made an amazing original game but couldn't capture the same thing in the sequels
2 is EASILY better then the original.
Second Son was a let down yes.
Infamous 2 is the only game that ever made me feel bad for picking the evil path.
This.
>wwn get a more kino moment than the evil side of InFamous w
I just want to play infamous 2 again bros
How was Second Son bad, outside of you being biased for the original two?
Better powers, better graphics, and a solid story.
The gameplay of Second Son is still great, but I don't really like the city, and Delsin as a character is off putting.
I will also actually say that I think First Light, both gameplay and story-wise is better then SS
I loved second son but the game ended way too early it felt like it was missing more characters and a third act
evil ending was legit the better ending and should have been canon, but as it wasn't they should make a new game with the evil ending of Second Son being canon.
Delsin is the big bad of the game, have absorbed so many powers and becoming a tyrant.
You can be conduit that fights for the resistance, a group of humans and conduits who don't wanna live under Delsin rule.
The reason you are the games "chosen one" is because you hve a power thats a bit similar to Delsins. While he can copy the power of any Conduit he touches, you absorb their "conduit energy" which bolsters your own and leaves them without powers.
Thats why you are the resistances best shot.
Throughout the game you will fight his generals, absorbing their energy and getting stronger yourself. The good/evil ending is obviously either taking out Delsin and restoring order or taking the spot for yourself.
I don't know what I would choose as the power but I would want it to be something really versatile, so while you have the 1 power you can do a lot with it, but not sure that that could be.
Thought about what you can control being conduit energy itself, like in its rawest form, which explains why you can take it from others, but haven't thought how it would work in gameplay.
May also end up being to similar to Delsins multiple powers and they would need to think of another way for you to restore your energy.
remaster the old and release on PC and PS5 but exclude the xbox and also make new since remastering doesnt take very long and can use the money from selling the remasters to fund its development
plus it has a spooky halloween themed dlc side story
you'd think more games would realize that's always an instant winner
Maybe energy is what you are a conduit of?
which is why you can take it from conduits, but then you can just absorb energy in multiple forms, electricity, fire, etc.
The ending was fucking kino. Thankfully nobody spoiled it to me
Oh, then when you take a conduits energy thats how your power grows and changes, you start to learn to release energy in different ways.
Start with Kinetic or something, then go into other forms.
"Twice as bright. I gotta try."
You already have Watchdogs, same low effort garbage. Just play that
they're nothing alike
Worth emulating?
Kill yourself
you cant emulate it it does not work
No really. Kys.
How did Kessler get so smart Cole was pretty dumb
I dont hate Second Son, but the game was barebones. There was barely any side mission of note, the story and characters were bland and had not the Spiderman vibes from the first one, the concrete power was pointless and the last act of the game was rushed as hell.
I liked the DLC better.
He was a man on a mission and was at least 40 year older than Cole
inFamous duology is a masterpiece as is, maybe 1 is worth remastering to fix janky cutscene animations, but for me they add to the charm
I wouldn't say one is better than the other. The story is equally good in both, the gameplay and polish is obviously better in 2, but I liked the city, the gangs and the atmosphere in 1 a lot more.
>concrete shrapnels, armor, thrusters are pointless
He probably means you get it right at the end of the game when there is nearly no point.
>Paper ARG not leading to paper powers.
Disappointing
shit
Remaster and PC version is the move imo
