I checked out of western shit with Witcher 3 years ago, I saw the writing on the wall. I just sit back and laugh now. Occasionally I'll buy something like risk of rain 2. Woke politics ruins every hobby.
Seeing people praise witcher 3 as the best game ever eventhrough gameplay and story seemed like a big step down for me compared to witcher 2 was really weird.

Not being in touch with modern society (at least these days) is a good thing. I feel the same way about Witcher 3, I liked 2 much more, at least on launch. Devs refuse to do much beyond rehashed ports, dlc monetization, and copy/paste. Games come out too quickly. They release them unfinished, and might patch in fixes later. Making games isn't about people who actually play games anymore, it's about profits as fast as possible.
