Read the first part of the sentence again, dipshit. They axed the zapping system of RE2, both characters scenarios, except for the cut scenes, are basically identical. They cut the randomized events from RE3 along with the live selection scenes, a couple boss fights, areas, mercenaries mode and the vast majority of exploration and puzzles. What makes you think that isn't going to happen to RE4?
