>stutters in 15 fps
Reddit: WOWW THANK YOU MICROSOFT!!! Honestly we should be glad we even got the game right guys? Compared to other flight sims the performance is fantastic! This game is a BENCHMARK for the future it's the NEW CRYSIS even though it doesn't even run on DX12
Stutters in 15 fps
Yea devs should stop putting effort into games because it doesnt run on your shit pc.
It doesn't run on anyone's PC kek
It's embarrassing every time someone says "new Crysis" about a game that's just poorly optimised. Crysis was an amazing engine and showed it when you put power into it. MSFS is shit in comparison.
poorfags seething again?
works on my machine :^)
Crysis was also a poorly optimized piece of shit, so there's nothing wrong with that term
What are you, poor?
I'm getting a solid 30 fps on my 2080ti. Turn off live air and ground traffic for some big gains
*at 30-40 fps
Crysis runs on 2 cores (barely), it's not well optimized, modern systems are just now pushing 60fps in it.
sounds like you are poor
>30 fps
>2080ti
KEK you've got to be kidding
>ms flight sim runs like shit
>people forgetting that flight sim x and DCS exists
do these people who shitting on flight sim are consolefags that seething over that 10/10 review?
It works fine on my machine
>you're poor!
>30 fps is normal for these kinds of games
>they'll release a performance update soon (even though there's NO mention of this by micropenissoft)
COPE fagboys, the game is an unoptimized piece of shit
now let's see a webm
>another snoy cope thread
Sorry kiddo. Maybe try that ancient boomer meme game crysis instead?
MSFS2020 is a true next gen benchmark and will be for many years.
It has the fps counter on the bottom right dude, Geforce Experience doesn't even recognize the game and labels it "desktop". It also includes its own fps counter in the screenshots.
>Crysis was also a poorly optimized piece of shit
No, it wasn't. They did the same thing as CDPR did when they made The Witcher 2 and id when they made Doom 3. They put in a bunch of graphical features they knew could not run on current gen hardware with the idea maybe in a couple of hardware cycles people will be able to finally max out the graphics. It's just retards who don't know much about computers screamed UNOPTIMIZED! because they couldn't run it on ultra settings on day 1 and that shit still goes on today more than a decade later. Crysis looked fucking amazing and ran fine on medium settings which were basically "current gen settings".
>game was built on old graphics API
Literally the definition of unoptimized
between planetside, arma, DCS, minecraft, most of these games that aim to give you giant playspace to then densely render, end up releasing either unoptomized, or just being general chugs until they're forced to scale back graphics and features.
Because you're recording the fps of the desktop not the game. The game is running at 30-40
dude, for real, thats the issue here. babies that spent 2k on their rig are mad they have to play on medium.
Flight sims have always been one of the heaviest games to run on a PC. Especially on release.
Literally don't know what you are talking about.
lol no u
Just lower the settings brainlet
>these kinds of games
>games
>Flight Simulator
>Simulator
a real retard
Buy an Intel CPU you poorfag
is this bait? It's well known that the game is very badly optimised
>This game is a BENCHMARK for the future it's the NEW CRYSIS even though it doesn't even run on DX12
This part is actually dumb and it's embarrassing that people are saying this. It runs on 4 cores 4 threads. The bottleneck is so extreme that no one can get high FPS even if you had a graphics card from the future. But if you have a modest graphics card the game runs pretty good, you could never say that about crysis. I have a GTX 1060 and played on high 1440p last night. If I used a framerate counter I would probably cry, but the game was very playable and definitely not a slideshow. I could death star run manhattan which is one of the most punishing places for framerate. Probably a reliable 30 at 1080p which is perfectly acceptable for a flight sim. If the game used more threads everyone's performance would vastly improve, especially close the ground and using large planes and this would be recognized as an impressively optimized game and not a benchmark unless you wanted to run it at 90 fps in VR.
This game is an embarrassing fucking flop. I thought the hype would at least last a week after release, but literally all talk of it has plunged into the ground.
How exactly is it badly optimized? Can you give examples on where they should improve optimization, whatever this means.
Everyone:
>Wow, what an amazing game :)
Ryzenfags:
>WTF I'M BARELY GETTING 20 FPS FUCKING UNOPTIMIZED PIECE OF SHIT
>Reddit: this human lump of shit on a plate is fucking delicious!!
what’s new?
>example
The fact it runs like shit for everybody?
>Crysis was also a poorly optimized piece of shit
nope. Crysis ran at mid-high on a 9600gt and dual core CPU while having graphics that weren't standard until the 2010s.
it was also an amazing shooter btw
>It's well known
By who? On what basis? Unless you've seen the source code and can actually read it you are in no position to declare something is unoptimized. You can make educated guesses, assuming you are actually educated on the matter which almost none of you are, but anyone saying stupid shit like "It must be unoptimized because I don't think the graphics look as good as *insert inappropriate comparison game here* and my machine runs that fine." is a fucking idiot.
So you can't name a single way on how to better optimize the game except
>hurrdurr I want moar FPS
>The fact it runs like shit for AMD users
fixed that for you
is this bait? It's well known that the game is wasn't terribly optimised but enough insecure manchildren whose PCs were part of their identities before waifu pillows existed couldn't max it for another couple of hw gens after release so they blamed the game
It's literally just a modernization of Microsoft's previous flight sim, and flight sims don't exactly have a huge "gamer" market. I don't get why you spergs judge niche genre games based on whether or not they pull in AAA release numbers.
>everybody
give it some time for the first-monther normienigger crowd to disperse and the people who are interested in the sim aspect to stick around and the server load will diminish and the performance will magically go up.
Poor core scaling.
