Undertale was already good, this is just Undertale but made in the golden age of RPGs.

i'm half tempted to buy a switch just to play this and SMT V, but I wanna know why this translated re-release even exists in the first place.

What's funny is that moon does the same thing but spells it out to you in the first 5 minutes. Then you spend the rest of the game saving the souls of all the animals, instead of getting some retarded "hurr you're a bad person for defending yourself!" at the end.

Well if you are getting a genocide ending, you are definitely not just doing self defense. If you are purely doing self defense you would probably just get a middling neutral ending.

It's pretty obvious that there is a better way to deal with battles, at some point its how you choose to deal with them. You're not considered "bad" in a neutral ending either, only the genocide is really considered bad.
