"no you can't go back to your family"

>"no you can't go back to your family"
>"you have to stay down here until you die so I can pretend you're my dead kid"
>"now just wait here while I trap you in here forever"
>"what no, don't kill me I love you! I was just trying to keep you safe!"

Were we supposed to feel bad? What the fuck is this shit?

Big fat goat milkers.

>Undertale is emotionally manipulative and poorly-contrived
who knew?

The alternative:
>Go outside
>Get captured
>Die like all the other kids she failed to protect
Living with a hot goat mom doesn't sound so bad in comparison.

Ok, Asgore, give it a rest. It’s starting to get sad now.

Only if she gives motherly sex every night.

Come on, user.

To be fair, she didn't know about your magic time-bending powers that make you litteraly immortal, she was just worried you'd get killed out there.

>Disliking toriel for all the wrong reasons
I want her to be my mommy but I also want to smack the FUCK out of her for treating ASGORE like he's an irredeemable asshole of some sort. He's literally only doing what he has to do, toriel is a naive bitch of a cunt to actually think ASGORE could free the monsters with a single soul when we know flowey got blown the fuck out with a whopping 6 under almost total control. I'm hoping and praying Toby isn't a faggot and gives ASGORE literally anything in the full release of deltarune, he's so incredibly unfairly JUSTed in both universes.

What kind of things would she do to ensure I stay safe and warm?
There needs to be some sort of incentive not to leave right.

You're a retard, freeing the monster is piss easy, you just have to break the barrier, for which you only need a single human soul, it took a good while until the souls rebelled against flowey and they only did because frisk called for help like a thousand times.

>killing humans to try to wage war against humans and rule over humans
>worthy of forgiveness
Pick one and only one.

Are you the guy who cried about Asriel and thinks it was the game's fault?

>”what no, don’t kill me I love you!”
she never said that

Toriel is marketable but Asgore isn't.

Why was she the only fight in the game to give you a instakill hit when she still had tons of hp left?

>Use over human soul to cross the barrier
>find some old or sick people close to death
>kill/wait for them to die and take their souls
>do this 6 times
>free all monsters
>PROFIT

>flowey got blown the fuck out with a whopping 6 under almost total control
Flowey got blown the fuck out because he lost control over the six souls. That battle was literal unwinnable without the souls helping you.

Asgore could have used one of the capured souls to cross the barrier and then taken what he needed from dying or dead humans. He was a coward, through and through. He didn't have the balls to free monsterkind, so instead of taking any agency he just sat and waited for any unfortunate humans to find him first. I'm using harsh words but I'm not judging him harshly; he's too nice. He's just not a killer, which is why he makes no effort to find those he must kill.

I told you: I don't like cinnamon

snail trail pie and comfy fireplace completely worth it

He would get fucked with only one soul, he needed all of them to be able to actually solo all of humanity

To get people who couldn't figure out how to spare her and thought fighting her until she was at low enough health would let her be spared. You're taught that all encounters can be ended without fighting, so players wanting to remain a pacifist get punished for trying to remain pacifist while still fighting.

God I want to massage Toriel's cute, tired feet.

Attached: Tori 24.jpg (407x844, 65.02K)

I don't think the kid wanted to go back to their family considering they climbed a mountain to get to a known suicide hotspot and fell in a giant hole on purpose
anyway she lets you out as soon as you prove you can defend yourself

You're assuming asgore would need to go on a war path to aquire the rest of the required souls. That being said, since he apparently planned on wagging war on humanity, he'd no doubt lead the entire monster population to extinction if he actually managed to destroy the barrier.

to bait people into killing her, reset, and discover that the game remembers past lives

Why 2 threads?

Someone make a third one

Being Toriel's little spoon.

She's portrayed as the more assertive of the two. If it was so simple, why didn't she do it herself?

I want to cum deep inside her ovulating womb while I call her mommy.

The alternative:
>Toriel stops running away from her responsibilities and accompanies you to meet Asgore and leave peacefully
oh wait she can't since she's shit

See:

Do NOT sexualize goat mom

>Asgore just kills Frisk after arriving
>Undyne snatches Frisk from Toriel and delivers him to Asgore
>Mettaton just kills Frisk
yep, nothing can go wrong

Fuck of, Flowey

You completely missed her point. She didn't want Asgore to do that, she just said he could if he really wanted to. She didn't want a single human to die.
Also killing children is a no-no pretty much everywhere.

This is what anyone who unironically thinks Toriel dindu nuffin tends to ignore: She was still queen, even if she ultimately shirked her duty to the people.

>beta bitch ain't gonna do shit
>bitch ain't got shit on a BOSS monster
>Alphys ain't completely retarded to let that happen

What the fuck was his problem?

She wasn't the one desperate to free the monsters. She was content to line peacefully underground and not wage war against humans. Asgore wanted to have his cake and eat it; free all monsters and get payback on the humans, but didn't want to get his hands dirty and take responsibility for his people.

If you want a real plot hole, how exactly did all the other kids die? The monsters are canonically extremely weak compared to humans yet somehow 6 humans got their asses handed to them. Especially since they canonically should have determination which means they can save. Furthermore, how the fuck can determination work when there are multiple people with it? Is every single human in this world constantly traveling back through time whenever anything bad happens?

I think the only way undertale's world holds up logically is if you go with the assumption that everything in the world canonically is a video game and thus the player is the only person with free will. That's a sad cop out though.

>he didn't play the game
Nobody would fuck with Frisk after getting the death glare.

>>"no you can't go back to your family"
The fuck was she supposed to do OP?
Yeet you up the hole and hope that gravity'd let her slip it $50 to ignore you for 5 minutes?

>be frisk
>see this
what do?

Frisk is an abomination of determination. Not every human can SAVE, they only have persistent souls.

the colors of the hearts of the other humans represent what their power was focused around

>>beta bitch ain't gonna do shit
He already has 6 other children in his kill count

>>bitch ain't got shit on a BOSS monster
She's a boss monster herself and has better combat experience than Toriel.

>>Alphys ain't completely retarded to let that happen
That's literally what happens in the story though, Mettaton tries to kill you against Alphys's wishes.

Is this still going or did he finish?

>Frisk is an abomination of determination. Not every human can SAVE, they only have persistent souls.
Why? Because he's the player in a video game is the only logical explanation, which is a cop out.

Source?

Can Zig Forums finally talk bout undertale?

It's emotionally manipulative bullshit. It tricks retards into thinking that the game is good because it made them feel emotions.

>he doesn't know

The entire monster realm hates humans and are aware that Asgore is in dire need of one more soul. Literally everything could have gone wrong if Toriel just decided to hand over the last soul he needed and said "p-please don't kill him"

>how the fuck can determination work when there are multiple people with it? Is
Only one person can have it, Flowey explains as much when he tells you he lost the ability to save when you came down, which also implies that none of the other kids were strong enough to "take" that power away from him.

The contrarian crowd over Undertale got pretty much ousted When Deltarune Chapter 1 dropped (that and Nuclear Kermit).

This game is such shit. So, so bad

>He already has 6 other children in his kill count
None of them died within his area

>She's a boss monster herself
boss monster != BOSS monster

>Mettaton tries to kill you against Alphys's wishes
The only real obstacle that could just as easily play out as it did in-game.

deltaruine is just as garbage. And why bother with chapter 1. Its never going to be finished.

There's just nothing to talk about without criticizing it. It's a game that is enjoyable in the moment, but that looking back on you realize it wasn't a very satisfying experience with no depth. It's like masturbating. You feel great while doing it, sure, but then you think, there really wasn't any value in what I just did. The gameplay is poor and feels tacked on, the story is full of plot holes, the characters are mostly simple tropes. In reality you enjoy the game because the music is good, surprisingly good considering the low quality of the visuals and the game is short enough that the excitement of a few great music tracks can carry the experience.

But there's little substance to actually talk about.

Isn't that implied in Deltarune's ending?

If you kill a lot of people in the neutral ending but don't kill Toriel, it always ends with the monsters revolting and throwing her out of her position as queen.

why does Undertale push pedophilia so much?

Attached: 1579132598036.jpg (1058x1331, 379.47K)

>leave peacefully
Leaving the barrier would still require a boss monster soul from either Asgore or Toriel.

>which also implies that none of the other kids were strong enough to "take" that power away from him
Pretty sure Flowey was not alive when the other six humans went through the Underground.

Ralsei looked better with his hat on. His white fur and pink horns make him look like Asriel went through HRT for 3 months.
