im stuck at a boss i cant beat cuz for some reason the devs put a wall that you cant jump over on the only way out of the boss arena

What? Maybe if you do a bunch of the ridiculous sequence breaking which takes pretty in-depth knowledge of the game and it's mechanics. My first playthrough including most of the DLC it took me about 25-30 hours to get 100% completion.

I've been playing through this game for the first time recently and absolutely love it. Most Metroidvania styled games (such as Hollow Knight) I find to be boring though I do love the actual Igavania games. Rabi Ribi is just such a delight to play, and it has to have one of my favorite OSTs at least that I've recently heard. The story and design is charming. It has an old school doujin game like quality to it, but it also reminds me a little of things like Maple Story as well. The boss fights are great too and I just love playing the game and exploring. Where do I go from here? What other games are worth checking out? Have these people even made another game like this?

Is that Touhou Lunar Nights game any good? It doesn't have to be a metroidvania, but just something similar to Rabi Ribi.

I don't remember there being a wall there at all. But Rita really shouldn't be giving you that much trouble. She's probably the easiest of the bosses you could be fighting at that point.

Lunar Nights is alright but is short and linear. The time gimmick is fun though.

Just finished Hollow Knight and Blashphemous and now im on the third stele boss in rabi-ribi. Its a much harder game IMO.
After this im thinking Bloodstained?

What's wrong with it? I think the designs are pretty cute. Gives it a nice simple indie feel to it. The sameface is really bad just within the game though. I can only imagine how bad it gets with the artist's other works.

Played it on Easy. I tried switching to Normal, but Kotri in the volcano was too much for me. I swapped back to Easy for the rest of the game. I can't handle the SP bosses even on Easy due to all the debuffs they layer on for those fights. I want to do a new game+ sometime so I can see all the memory scenes.
