I don't know about you but I do wide shelling only gunlance and I'm almost always top damage on the damage counter on every MR hunt

How do I improve with funlance? I like the idea of being a walking tank but my soul dies a little after spending what feels like an eternity preping a wyrmstake blast only to whiff it entirely.

My most reliable way of putting a wyrmstake on a monster is doing the poke>load blast>shoot blast combo. Loading has a guard point and you can use that to not get interrupted by an attack

As the hunt drags on, you'll know who's contributing and who's not. I don't think knowing the exact numbers would change that. The Greatsword chilling in the corner waiting for the next knockdown so he can do his full charge is already going to be noticed.

Being a Spread HBG/sticky LBG main, I feel like I’m bullying tempered monsters. I’m building a GS set just to break things up but I feel my DPS is so low.

I can see why if you're going from steady consistent damage with HBG/LBG to large bursts here and there with GS

HH does 20% of the 3 other players' damage just by wanking in the corner. That alone is worth more than shelling everyone off the weakspots anytime there's an opening for big damage.
