*is the best Metroid game*

I found a decent amount of them before they were required, and I was doing it blind.

I mean i admit some parts of the game were a bit tedious (especially with switching between light/dark world all the time)
But the torvus bog is what did it for me. The ambiente and soundtrack were just too perfect.

Completely right. Torvous Bog and Sanctuary Fortress are the best zones in the whole prime series.

I have a confession. I've never played a Metroid game before in my life.

One of the best for sure, but Prime 1 is still better.

The shitty constant light/dark world portal loading zones + dark world looking all the same everywhere really puts this below MP1 for me
I will say it has WAY better boss fights than MP1 though

they are great games
to be honest my first game was prime 2 and i never touched the oldschool metroid games.
but i highly recommend playing the prime triology if you are up for the challenge.

I had a dream last night that they brought back Hunters for the switch. I don’t really know why but I do agree with my subconscious that it would be cool.

I'd honestly be down for that. Just make it a multiplayer-only thing. Make it a little more balanced than the original and you could have a great casual arena shooter.
