Does anyone really like Kirby games unironically? I’ve never been able to say about any game series ever except this one, but once you’ve played amazing mirror/super star ultra, you’ve played em all.

Yeah robobot is genuinely great, triple deluxe is good, SKC is fun, SSU is nostalgic and has some decent modes. There are a good amount of bad/mediocre kirby games but some are actually fun

Sounds like a logical evolution of Kirby 64's 2.5D. I've been hoping the series would revisit that game's formula since GCN got cancelled.

I feel like multiplayer games have to be once per generation but they're missing out on cash by not releasing paid updates or something at least. They could release a sequel and just let players play with each other too but the owners of splatoon 2 wouldn't be able to play with the new stuff
Splatoon is still a relatively young IP with only two entries, not only do we not have enough data points to create a pattern, it would be foolish to assume Nintendo would let such a popular new IP lay dormant for 5-6 years between entries.
