is it worth $30?
Play it on gamepass
It comes with gamepass. Might give it a try. Looks kinda comfy but those positive Steam reviews are the gayest I've ever seen for any game.
Ignore all of that shit. It'll be full of reddit tier "oh my god so sad ;_;" shit. It is actually quite well written and is genuinely emotional.
Loved the first half of the game. I wanted to die by the end because of just how long it was taking just to move the story along. What a let down.
Yeah they needed to tone down the grind a whole fucking lot
>Atul goes missing
>NOOOOOOO THERE CAN'T BE SAD EMOTIONS
fucking snowflakes
Made it about an hour before I dropped it. The game moves at a snail's pace and I was bored the whole time.
Most of the crafting sofar is quite fun and cozy, just watering the plants is annoying.
Also that you have no cooking result preview for stuff you already cooked.
Just continue after 2-3hours you have so much to do on the ship that it don't feels slow anymore.

Yes, the steam reviews.
Thanks user, didn't know it was on gaypass so ill just try it there.
It's a bit too grindy, and I feel like most characters aren't very fleshed out about their regrets or how their lives were. It's pretty much "insert headcanon/guesswork here" between a few lines
How are Jotun and Sundered from the studio?
Overrated as fuck. But still decent if you enjoy stuff like this. I suspect most reviews are hipsters trying to get street cred for bring DEEP and loving ghibli style art.
>GOD TIER
Stanley
Atul
>MOMMY TIER
Gwen
>DADDY TIER
Giovanni
>GOOD TIER
Gustav
Alice
Elena
>OKAY TIER
Summer
>WHY TIER
Buck
>GET OFF MY BOAT "PLEASE" TIER
Bruce & Mickey
Oops, I forgot Astrid (also MOMMY TIER)
I liked Alice a lot actually. It was sad when she lost her memory
Got one error crash after 10 hours which was annoying as fuck, also a little grindy. Still the hand drawn art is really comfy and its helping me cope with some family im losing soon thanks to cancer.
>bruce and mickey
>the super slow animations for those two cunts to get into dialogue
>wont eat half the shit I cooked
>Annoy all other passengers
>dont even give anything good
That and her sweetness got her into the Good tier. Usually I'm not fond of the elderly or slow hedgehogs.
goty its among my favorites now, i plan on replaying it again some day, a good 35+ hours of content, worth its price for me.
Atul and Buck was my god tier
i had consistent crashes if i slept in the south western foggy place, had to just avoid sleeping in that area.
yea thats exactly where I crashed, other people claming theres memory leaks too
next time im just doing him last, fucking moodkiller bullfuck, and he would fucking move when i was looking in the menu for food he might like.
Buck was put into a bad situation, where I was already 99% done with the game, and then there was suddenly a dozen globetrotting quests to places I've already been, and an ability that I didn't need unless I was grinding his XP potions which I didn't need either. I feel bad for not finishing his story, but I needed to off myself more.
ah, bad timing, next time get him earlier, his quests were enjoyable for me.
my fuck off tier would be Elena and Bruce/Mickey
How many guests play instruments as well? It looks like some of the shit from the trailer like gwen watching a full ship playing all their instruments together is literally impossible mechanics and progression wise
I want to avoid this, where is he?
southpoint docks, just dont talk to him.
I'd avoid Mickey more, but Buck is in a Japanese lighthouse.
fuck i gave location for mickey, avoid him at all costs, buck is cool. do mickey last because he fucks the mood on the ship and bullies everyone.
nice reading comprehension
Gustav, Atul and Summer at some point i think can play music
stories seem to be composed from personal experiences the creators had with losing friends and family.
literally the scariest thing to me is one of my family getting alzheimers and not having them pass peacefully but in constant disorientation and fear.
scary shit indeed, id get assisted suicide were i in those shoes.
