"Fixed" is a strong word. It's better, but it's still janky as fuck, and it doesn't hold a candle to either SA1 or SA2. Sometimes you fly off the road because you approached muh scripted events from the wrong angle. The snowboarding section is beyond ass. Sonic is too twitchy, and the levels were obviously not designed for his newfound speed, at least some invisible barriers would've been nice. It still needs a ton of work overall.

Adventure games were much more solid, you felt more in control. Especially in SA1, that shit was tight as fuck. Even Heroes knew how slippery it was and had invisible walls on almost every platform to prevent you from running off ledges by accident.

As someone who only briefly played 06 I agree. The snowboarding is completely broken and Flame Core just sucks ass. It's fun but still broken, just less so.

Sonic physics control beautiful now. I have no idea why you say he's too "twitchy". I also don't know what you mean by ""newfound speed"". Sonic is still the same speed, the only thing that was speed up was his homing attack.
