Unironically the actual good one is Lost World. The rest are clunky dogshit. First 3D entry where I felt in control of the little pinball.
I hated secret rings at first but then I got good at it and it is a fucking blast.
Reminder that working at Sonic Team in the mid 2000s must've the most miserable experience ever. Too many projects at the same time and Sega was pushing ridiculous deadlines and not caring about quality control

Point A to B missions can be really fun once you level up, master the controls and memorize the layouts, plus any mission that requires to do anything else than get to the goal are pure shit. Ultimately, the game needed to be more accesible, more streamlined and not have any shitty missions
Colours is the best 3d game and if you liked generations you'll love it
Play modded generations so you can play the unleashed levels without the night ones

Defend this piece of shit games. Everything feels so slipery, the game is broken as hell, the cut-scenes are beyond cringey, the open world is completely soulless and boring
SA1 as a whole isn’t great but if you just wanna play as Sonic only you can, so I recommend
SA2 is alright but there will be some things that piss you off or confuse you. Don’t recommend if you wanna avoid that.
Unleashed I would only recommend to a hardcore Sonic fan. The Sonic parts are good but the Werehog parts are unbearably slow and long. Since you have Generations already you could just download the Unleashed mod and enjoy the good bits. Though, you won’t be getting the true Unleashed experience.
Colors is pretty much 2.5D and isn’t that great. The presentation is good though and with 3D Sonic you gotta take what you can get. Recommend if you wanna play a “normal” Sonic without other characters.
Forces is okay. Recommend if you want an easy 3 hour playthrough. Mod support is also fun to tinker with.

Spindash was not perfect. It was terrible and you could just spam it. Maybe its fun in a glitchy way but not actually good. Also if Sonic can’t run through loops on his own the physics aren’t perfect

Not really. They were okay at best and bad at worst. The main problem is that they’re built like normal hub worlds. There are no platforming elements and barely any secrets. If you want an example of a good Sonic HUB look at Utopia.
Adventure isn’t good. It’s mediocre in all honesty.

there is something specially autistic about you and how you type. yes i'm defending them. they are kino just like 2's are. you couldn't do anything to fix them, as they are fine the way they are. all the things you can make fun of is what gives it its charm.

again, fuck off. there were different ways to get emblems that did require some platforming and alls it did was act as an in-between segment for the stages. it was a good thing that they had different interactions happen in the hub world for bosses and characters, and the neat little things like finding the eggs and bringing them back for the chao garden, and knuckles dig. mystic ruins was soul incarnate.
and i have beaten it more than twice, and it is definitely good. the only bad thing about this game is amy's physics which can be fixed with a mod.
