yeah no kidding, now imagine something like that in some game with AAA graphics or something or VR.

A tornado wouldn't really be scary in a VR game because part of what makes a tornado scary is feeling the hundred mile winds and seeing the destruction unfold. In a game setting, that wouldn't particuarly be scary and more of just an obstacle that will kill you or throw something at you that could kill you.

Tornadoes scare the shit out of me too but I don't think they'd be that scary in a video game.
It'd be hard to instil that kind of primal terror for your life from a natural disaster in a video game.

why would you be scared of something that can manipulate winds to go over 300mph, can be miles wide, and move in any direction at random speeds??

I can imagine how seeing a natural monstrosity like that wreaking havoc and destruction would be pretty terrifying in real life, but having never seen one they've never really bothered me in neither movies or video games. More just a point of fascination that I feel intrigued to look closer at.

Fuck living in the midwest my whole life, I've gotten used to hundreds of tornado warnings every summer. When I was a child a tornado swept through my city nearly missing our house. Now when theres a tornado warning I just go on with my day like normal. If I die, I die.

There's a pretty good tornado survival game on roblox but of course it leans more on the silly side.

honestly what scares me more than the tornado itself is how your TV turns into a loudspeaker warning you that you're going to die and how the city starts blaring a spooky tornado siren
now that shit is one way to get the nerves going

giants deep is a nightmare fuel. Even after learning that it cant really hurt you its still terrifying as fuck

My favorite thing to do in that game was to pick up a car and fly as high as you could and then drop it and watch the jank physics send the car flying across the whole city.

I'm in the path of this hurricane which has high risk of bringing tornadoes and super high winds with it

It was such a good bad game.

The fact that not a single decent Grey type alien horror game has been made blows my mind.
I imagine a developer would fuck it up and try to make them "scarier" by giving them roars or an angry face instead of that cold, emotionless, silent and yet menacing presence that they have.

If i remember right, there was a mode where you played as the evil superman, can't even remember his name. But you just had to wreak havoc or you'd die. Kinda like the venom mode in ultimate spiderman
