>he doesn't min/max like a grognard

multiclassing is degenerate, and half the party npcs are mage/thief anyway

The mainchar is supposed to be a bhaalspawn so its only lorefriendly to minmax

I'm going to finish Baldur's Gate 2!
One day...

You should never dual class in BG1 unless you're planning on running with BG2 with it.

ZOOM ZOOM ZOOM

It would help if you just did the main quests instead of doing ever single side-quests first.

BG1 is so low level for most parts that dual/multiclassing goes to waste in it, its only in BG2 that you get any use out of it including the gear you can use with multiclasses.

>Those portraits

Why do people do this?

>not Fighter/Thief
magic is for homosexes

monk/thief is easy mode.

>Mage/Thief
Arcane Trickster?

aged like milk

Lol who the fuck plays a Theif in AD&D, they sucked. I guess it could be worse, you could be Monk shilling.

also tried playing multiplayer it's unplayable. it's like devs don't even care but at same time their franchise is actually irrelevant. i understand blizzard not caring, their franchise rake in trillions, but bioware? it's not 90s anymore, get your head out of your ass.

I have the original but I've never finished it; the UI is a fucking sin, the game is too zoomed in in native and too zoomed out in widescreen and it's just so boring compared to PST.

>he doesn't play Cleric/Ranger and dual wields Crom Faeyr and Flail of Ages

Fighter/Cleric does it infinitely better and doesn't abuse bugs.

How? Fighter THAC0 should be irrelevant with cleric buffs and you only get like 1 extra proficiency with weapons with fighter multiclass.

Because the only reason why Cleric/Ranger is popular is a bug.

>>Ok, I've just about had my FILL of riddle asking, quest assigning, insult throwing, pun hurling, hostage taking, iron mongering, smart arsed fools, freaks, and felons that continually test my will, mettle, strength, intelligence, and most of all, patience! If you've got a straight answer ANYWHERE in that bent little head of yours, I want to hear it pretty damn quick or I'm going to take a large blunt object roughly the size of Elminster AND his hat, and stuff it lengthwise into a crevice of your being so seldom seen that even the denizens of the nine hells themselves wouldn't touch it with a twenty-foot rusty halberd! Have I MADE myself perfectly CLEAR?!"

"not a chance" in czech, don't know why that faggot said it though

>multiclass
>min/max

theres maybe one particular case (gnome fighter/illusionist) where multiclass is better over dual classing

berserker is the best class without being gay

Cavalier is the superior choice from a roleplaying perspective.
