Just got one of these Mayflash nuggets

Just got one of these Mayflash nuggets.
How come nobody talks about this and other adapters? Is there no demand for wireless controllers on PC or does everyone have one already?
I could gush about this thing non-stop. It just works.

It makes my switch pro rumble too hard, I have to turn rumble off or else it becomes a jackhammer

gf has fucked wrists and has to only use joy-cons for everything, this thing is awesome. it wasn't that awesome until the recent update (troubles connecting / staying connected / reconnected, only digital joysticks) but it's all been fixed now. Considering the cronus zen because our xbox is excluded and fucked hands make certain things like repeated presses hard for her so I can script them for her. Not for multiplayer though because we're not assholes

Pretty sure it's got rumble settings if you upgrade to the latest firmware mayflash.com/Support/Download/
Thanks for the warning, I've been keeping mine on the default firmware cause it works well already. IIRC you can install older firmwares in the updater by holding shift

why would i buy an adapter when a ds4 is better and actually works on my pc with a usb cable

My brother has one. Lets him use a DS4 on his Switch. Seems neat.

It works with a DS4. I hate micro USB cables

It's just a fucking adapter, who the fuck gushes over an adapter

>It works with a DS4
i'm not saying it doesn't, i'm saying unlike it works with a cable unlike a pro controller
>I hate micro USB cables
unless you're jumping around like a retard when you play, the cable the ds4 comes with (at least i'm pretty sure it is) is long enough to allow you to sit in all kinds of positions and like a meter away from your pc. there's no reason it should bother you while playing

Until the hooks wear down to stubs and the controller disconnects whenever you move an inch

oh, so you are jumping around like a retard, good to know

All Nintendo consoles since the Wii just work through bluetooth. I use Linux these days and xwiimote automatically comes with a new install of Ubuntu. I don't need any dongles or setup or anything. It just works.

It's neat. I don't use it all the time but it's a handy device to have hanging around.

What's the point of these again, DS4 works on PC, Xbone works on PC, Switch Pro controller is supported on Steam and emulators.
Unless you want to use your Xbone on a Switch or a pro controller on a PS, then fair enough I guess

I bought one of the limited color DS4 recently. The cable was like maybe 12" long.
I've only seen Zig Forums complain about this. Are you literally just jamming wires in without paying attention? Are you that retarded?
Every one of my micro usb cables has lasted 6+ years

Not everything on PC works with a PS4 controller, so the adapter can just turn it into a 360 controller. Also if you don't have bluetooth on your computer it'll do the trick for controllers

But you can emulate xinput with ds4windows so why on earth would you buy this thing
> if you don't have bluetooth on your computer
That's pretty dumb, most mid end motherboards these days come with integrated bluetooth, and if not a bluetooth can be used for a plethora of other things and not just controllers

Update the dongle to the latest version

And then do the following
3. Adjust the vibration intensityQuick Start:
(1) Pressing and holding the two buttons R1/RB and R3 for 3-5 seconds until the controller keeps rumbling.
(Note: You need to keep holding these two buttons until you finish the whole process)
(2) To adjust the vibration intensity, press the Directional Pad "Up" or "Down".
(3) To quit the vibration adjusting, release any button of R1/RB or R3 once you have got your preferred vibration intensity.
(4) There are 7 levels of the vibration intensity on the Switch Pro mode (LED Purple),0% 25% 37.5% 50% 62.5% 75% 100%. The default vibration intensity is 50%.
(5) There are 7 levels of the vibration intensity on the other modes,50% 62.5% 75% 87.5% 100% 125% 150%. The default one is 100%
(Note: No vibration on the Nintendo Switch System mode/LED in red. The vibration is compatible with PS3 Game Console on the PS3 or PC Dinput System mode/LED in blue)

*bluetooth dongle can be used

Why would you need an adapter for wireless controllers on PC unless you’re a literal idiot?

So you're paying 20 bucks for something you can do with a 1 buck bluetooth dongle or just for free with software like DS4Windows of your PC was made after 2002?
People are truly retarded these days and consider paying for something you can get for free a feature.

I don't think anyone in this thread understands how awful cheap bluetooth adapters can be

Wii U pro controller needs a lot of fuckery to work via Bluetooth, the dongle makes it plug and play, if you own a switch it can even let use a DS4 Like a pro controller with gyro support

I just connect my xbone controller to my PC via bluetooth
It just works

>nintendo
>own a switch
So you’re really a literal retard.

>Wii U pro controller needs a lot of fuckery to work via Bluetooth
Works on my machine

Notice how lost of the replies supporting the thing come from people who own Nintendo garbage. They consider overpaying for shit the rest of the world gets for free a feature and, if you let the thread roll, they will end up saying it's comfy too.

it's comfy

I used mine to connect my PS4 taiko drum to my Switch, pretty handy.

Also used it to play Demon Souls on my PS3 with my xbone elite controller, which was nice.

Try less harder to fit in

*most of the replies

Fuck off with your unneeded adapters and expensive baby toys, nintodler.

If you use bluetooth for anything besides connecting the controller it becomes a mess because you need to use some toshiba drivers, it's doable but i don't want to be messing with the Bluetooth drivers every time i want to connect anything that's not the Wii U pro controller
