Honestly if you though they wouldn't do a partners showcase they you're probably retarded

Lots of rhythm games... but they did say they were looking forward to more presentations this year which is nice.

epic reaction lmao the meta is so based.

Hopefully these two directs were made to just clear up space for big announcements in the general direct whenever it comes out.
R-Right?

I wasn't expecting anything, and after this, I probably would've preferred nothing.

They said there would be another one in the last one, but this time they didn't say to look forward to another. This means whatever presentation comes after this will be the major one.

>Lots of rhythm games...
and you say that as if it's a bad thing
barring select titles available elsewhere, the switch is the new home of otoge stuff, both from mobile grounds and console-native

WHEN THE FUCK WITLL THEY PUT THE STORY SO FAR ON SWITCH?

They literally said more of these are coming in the future

The obly things that interest me are puyo and captain tsubasa lmfao

Too baid TnT was the only good looking rhythm game.

So they did, was watching the nip version kek

I just meant it could have been more diverse. Nothing wrong with rhythm games.

shit.

PUYO PUYO TETRIS BROS WHERE YOU AT?

anything different?

Fun thing that it's also the weaker link between the recently-ported-to-the-West Taiko titles. While yeah, sure, Drum 'n' Fun is getting a lot of free(TM) additional modes and songs to this day, the PS4 Taiko loads menus faster and has a more robust song selection for series veterans overall, with plenty of newcomers to console games

If you played a trio of the old Taikos from the Wii/WiiU/DS/3DS/PSP/PSVita days, chances are you've already played 40% of the available songs at least once in a former title, barring DLCs when applicable

Fucking indie world last week was better than this. Does Nintendo seriously not have any games this year?

Too bad Drum 'n' Fun is the only one to get that drum controller bundle

What Taiko game would you suggest if I wee to buy 1 right now?

>more taiko
im ok with this

Puyo Puyo Tetris 2? alright nintendo wins e3

Thanks groudon,

>end first partner direct with Nocturne HD and SMT V
>end this one with a fucking reel
Why didn't they just fucking combine them together and have a third part mini-direct?

That captain tsubasa frame rate was painful to watch

Ps4 version it is

Six thousand idiots have disliked it already because there was no Smash DLC or new Mario game revealed at the Nintendo Direct Mini PARTNER SHOWCASE. Why the hell would they reveal either of those in a mini direct focused exclusively on third parties?

Almost done with Hacker's Memory what game should I play next available on the Switch? Any obscure recommendations?

It's disliked because it's fucking boring shit that no one cares about. Not even the people who pretend to.

If you can snag an import one at around 50 bucks, maybe consider getting it if you really want to play on PS4. Be aware that a bit of manual modding job would be required, as the built-in hit sensitivity sucks ass without tinkering around by yourself like in the Wii drum's days

This really boils down to which of the song lists is the more appealing one to your tastes. Search around to find out each game's Day1 song load by yourself, but by rule of thumb if you like JP-rooted licensed songs and original pop songs with lyrics, the Switch one is the one for you. On the other coin, the PS4 game has an higher focus on young-adults licensed tracks and instrumental-oriented picks.

Difficulty-wise, the PS4 game will serve you harder songs, already with the base 70-songs package; save for some revived 10-star Oni tracks, it's definitely an easier game and literally the rest of the top-difficulty stuff in there is gated through DLC purchases and the likes. Might get some mileage with the online ranking modes though, if accuracy practice is the one side you like the most

Big Rumble Boxing - Creed Champions looks like it could be good. I've been wanting a good boxing game for Switch.

T-minus 30 minutes to the seething Nintendo Youtuber rant videos. Get the popcorn ready boys!!
