As much as I'd like a Pikmin 3 port, it was never on my list of games I'd like to try from Wii U. That honor went to Star Fox Zero, Xenoblade Chronicles X, and 3D World.

Metroid Prime 4, Bayo 3, BOTW2...you know, any game we were told to look forward to years ago

I'm just waiting for RF5 at this point. It's the last bastion of hype I have on the Switch. I don't care about Metroid no matter what comes out, BoTW got boring, Smash had bad online, Xenoblade 2 was overly weeb cringe with worse gameplay than 1 or X, Mario Party didn't have real online, Three Houses had some of the most boring braindead easy gameplay in the FE series and was a visual turd, SwSh was the worst Pokemon game yet by far for a shopping list of reasons, Animal Crossing is a gutted live service experience as they trickle features that New Leaf had at launch 7 years ago and expect you to terraform all day every day as your only content, etc.

My favorite games on Switch have mostly just been ports of games I already played before, just not comfy in bed on handheld. Mario Odyssey was probably the one Switch exclusive game I really enjoyed and didn't just feel shit compared to previous games in its series.

So is it reasonable to assume that Bravely Default 2 and NMH3 are gonna be delayed to next year? Of all the games to show up in a 3rd party showcase I expected those to be the big guns this time. They were honestly the only 3rd party Switch games that were set for 2020 that I even cared for. Bayo 3 too but that never had a release date.

How fucking desperate do you have to be to support a company who will literally shit in your mouth and then ask for $60+ for a game, and $100+ for controllers which are the text book definition of "drift"

Even replaying the game with the port of 4 has been vastly more enjoyable than any of the actual new major titles coming out on Switch. If it's at least as good as 4 and gets a decent visual upgrade I'll be happy. My hopes aren't super high, but at least higher than anything made first party by Nintendo at this point

Not him, but I used to take posts like yours as shitposting, but after the past year of releases for Switch I have to agree now. I thought BoTW being boring was fine since that meant it just wasn't my type of open world, but every major Nintendo series that got a new game on Switch has been ass besides Mario, somehow. Pokemon, Paper Mario, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing.. And all my friends think the games have been amazing, even the extremely blatantly shit ones like Sword and Shield. I'm just baffled how bad they keep fucking up such easy balls to hit out of the park.

You are completely wrong about bayonetta and the cutscenes were one of the very few good things in botw.
