Give me one good reason.
Give me one good reason
You don't own a $6591 PC like me and don't want to spend $800 on Sony's latest blu-ray player and aren't still an 8 year old who is interested in Nintendo
If you have a PC:
1. Cross-save
2. Better version of Game Pass
3. Red Dead Redemption, Ninja Gaiden Black, SSX 3, Banjo-Kazooie, Fable 2, Conker Live and Reloaded, Skate 3, Perfect Dark, Metal Gear Solid 3
If you're thinking about PS5:
1. Smaller
2. More powerful
3. Better version of multiplats
4. Game Pass
5. Smart Delivery
6. Halo Infinite, Hellblade 2, Avowed, Everwild, Fable, Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves, Wasteland 3, State of Decay 3, Flight Simulator, Forza Motorsport
7. Better controller
8. Enhanced backwards compatibility
This.
not having to pay the njudea tax
Do you like the Game Pass idea?
>yes.
Go for it.
>no.
Never touch it.
PC is better.
Your thread has been sage'd.

You'll make your father proud

As someone with a budget rig, do you think I'm better off getting a Series X, or just waiting to upgrade my rig?
PC's always gonna be a better choice, but depending on the price of the sex it might be a good buy. All depends on your budget.
fpbp
I think I’ll make it to November with about $1000, tops. I might just wait until March and get a really good laptop.
for 1000$ you could buy a very good pc, let alone just upgrading a current one. whatever 400-500$ new gpu (rtx 3070 or whatever amd rdna2 card) will surely beat the seX. If your cpu socket isnt too outdated i would suggest upgrading
Here are my current specs:
>Ryzen 1200
>16GB of DDR4
>RX 470 8GB
>Samsung M.2
*gives you 1 good reason*
yw bro
get a 2700x and a new gpu with rest of money you'll be good for a while
There is none. Consider the following
>Want to mobile gaming
>Need to hide Xbox Series X
>Try shoving it up my anus
>Corners hurt by bumbum
>Being a rectangular pillar clogs up colon and can't poo
Meanwhile, with the superior consoles
>Want to mobile gaming
>Shove PS5 up my ass
>Its smooth corners make it easy to slide in
>Its general flatness leaves room for poo and to shove my Nintendo Switch in there as well
>Can game while at university and church without anyone knowing
>Am happy gamer
The answer is so obvious.
I can't
I currently use a 1080p TV. Should I go for a 1440p monitor, a 4K TV, or a 1080p 120+ monitor?
Looks cool.
>and get a really good laptop
Would highly, highly, highly recommend not doing this.
I don't know. I guess if you're braindead that might be a good reason.
That's up to personal preference. Depends on what you value more. Resolution or framerate.
>more powerful
PS5 & XBOX whatever the fuck are cash grabs.
a 120/144hz 1440p with freesync/gsync is pretty good. I currently have that with a 5700xt and aim for around 100fps. But 4k 60 is very doable. Honestly if you haven't been tainted with high refresh rates 4k 60 is good for everything
The PS5 is because Sony went full retard with the SSD, but if MS sells the SeX at 500$, it would be a steal considering the parts in it.
I have a budget PC too. IMO, get an XSX w/ gamepass ultimate and wait to upgrade to 3000 series gpu. That's what I'm doing. Im honestly not planning to buy many games on XSX, just using it as a nice gamepass/multiplat machine until I upgrade.
LOL. No Games Series X
Not really true, unless you mean that they're all on PC, too.
