I think the issue is that it's 15 seconds of song that loops nonstop for the entirety of the game

It's the Indiana Jones theme but 8bit and with a fucked up tempo looped for 95% of the game. He either only likes it because of the AVGN episode or he's a jackass with awful taste.

Manic Miner gets shit on, but it's still impressive that they made a game with a sound track on a system that shouldn't have been powerful enough for it by alternating the CPU cycles between focusing on the game and the music which is why the music has that choppy sound to it.

I understand where you're coming from 100%, but after the novelty of the music existing it's not something you'd want to hear for an extended period of time.
