after playing through all the cold steel games that are currently localized, i gotta give it to xenoblade
what the fuck happened with the writing in the kiseki games? FC, SC, and the 3rd weren't like incredible writing but cold steel comes off as fanfic within an established world. zero/ao kinda pushed it a bit with the sept terrion of zero shit and zeit, but cold steel drives me nuts

Nah, the game has no grinding at all unless you want to be an unstoppable god with every character at once. To break the game you just abuse the delay status effect while speeding your own team up so that the enemy never gets a turn
