Explain why exactly it shouldn't have an easy mode. Pro-tip: it should. The game wouldn't be any different at all if it had it.
Explain why exactly it shouldn't have an easy mode. Pro-tip: it should...
It unironically has an easy mode and it's free for PCbros and $50 for PS4chads
the first playthrough is the easy mode lol
It’s better without one
It wasn't designed for it.
>unironically has an easy mode
No. And stop using the word "unironically", it makes you look dumb.
Not really, the game is really challenging in the first playthrough.
How so?
It doesn't need to be.
Not having different modes mean everyone has the same experience.
I became good friends with someone at work with Sekiro because we both had the same experiences of difficulty and discusses how we beat the bosses.
Want an easier game, play Tsushima.
It already has an easy mode
It's called "Watch someone play it on Youtube, you casual faggot."
>Not really, the game is really challenging in the first playthrough.
plenty of games vary in difficulty, there is no reason some games can't be innately more challenging than others (not that sekiro is, its pretty easy. you're just bad)
People who are bad at videogames do not deserve anything.
b8
We had this exact same thread with the exact same OP the other day.
OP if you wanna discuss sekiro, why not just make a sekiro thread instead of baiting.
>It doesn't need to be
Then why add it?
So you can only talk about a game with your friends if the game doesn't have a difficulty setting? Seems like a bad excuse to me, something oddly specific. You could both play on normal if you like it challenging and have the same exact experience any way.
That is unsatisfying and not the same thing at all.
And there's no reason for something as mundane as easy mode not to be added.
Okay elitist.
Baiting? Can we discuss this please? Okay, let's say they add an easy mode on Sekiro with a patch. Does it change anything to you? Does it detract from your experience in any way, shape or form? Help me understand.
Why not add it? Only benefits with no negatives.
Use cheat engine you whining nigger. There's your easy mode.
>That is unsatisfying
just like an easy mode would be
because the game is already easy
also I don't think I can play a zelda or platgames button masher ever again after this
Sekiro's combat is great
>That is unsatisfying and not the same thing at all.
Playing a game that's meant to be a struggle, where the struggle is woven into the gameplay and narrative, on a setting that trivializes it is also pretty unsatisfying.
On PC everything has an story mode.
Just download a trainer, set it to immortal, done.
Can also use it to farm super fast and so on.
Outside PC... yeah you are fucked haha
imagine Sekiro but hard
It does. It is built in right from the start. It is so easy that enemies can't kill you half way through the game.
There's a lot of "gamer girls" who beat the game, are you worse than them OP? Ffs
because it's not that hard and it's more fun to have a little challenge.
otherwise what would be left? just press buttan and watch things die?
you can always watch someone else play it if you aren't willing to put a little effort in yourself, then
virgin detected
>Why not add it
Because it wasn't designed for it.
Not an argument.
That's not up to you to decide. I know you at Zig Forums are gods at gaming with impeccable reaction times and everything, but not everyone is like that. Maybe even an easy mode would be challenging and meaningful for certain people.
Reminder again: if you think the game is meant to be so challenging, then you can just play on normal mode and be done with it. An easy mode would have ZERO effect on your experience.
It's not easy for the vast majority of humanity. Again, I know you on Zig Forums are special, but you can have some empathy.
Okay, so you can play on normal like you did and everything would be the same for you, not an argument against easy mode.
It doesn't need to be.
It’s better without one because it’s a great game and a difficulty system would only devalue it
"Devalue" it how?
this is a good argument. also why can't developers do whatever the fuck they want with their games? if you hate it so much get easy games (ubisoft says hello) or just git gud
>Okay, so you can play on normal like you did and everything would be the same for you
and you can watch it on youtube if you want an easy mode
>it doesn't need to be
So why add it?
How easy is easy enough seriously just watch it on YouTube.
>also why can't developers do whatever the fuck they want with their games?
Why can't people suggest improvements? Did you never criticize a game?
Not an argument.
>How so?
because it gatekeeps lazy assholes like you
What is easy mode for this game? Enemies die when you look at them? Seriously this game is already easy as fuck so I don't know how you'd make it easier without completely breaking it.
>he's actually going all-in on the bait
I appreciate the dedication, I really do.
How is it an improvement?
Because it’s a joy to consume the salt of people who complain that the game doesn’t have an easy mode.
all it would do is changing the damage scaling and HP of enemies, which is not a good solution.
literally bait abandon thread
It's funny how Zig Forums can't manage to make a single logical argument. It's just ad-hominem.
More people that can't enjoy the game now can enjoy it. Simple.
Why not?
When you make a game like Sekiro piss easy for journalists and casuals, you completely undermine its gameplay design and atmosphere. Maybe you're ok with games like Uncharted and TLOU having completely different gameplay to those things, but you shouldn't be. Difficulty can and should match them.
Get fucked, and git gud. Video games should not be accessible to all just like books and films (better, more respected, and a thousand times more mature mediums than gaming will ever be) shouldn't be neutered for capeshit audiences on their cell phones instead of paying attention.
Different games are for different people. Only the corporate overlords want video games that will be accessible to 100% of the population so they can make as much profit as possible.
>I know you at Zig Forums are gods at gaming with impeccable reaction times and everything, but not everyone is like that.
You're genuinely hilarious. I died so many times in my first playthrough that over half the characters that can get dragonrot did. Most people who actually beat the game would say the same.
That doesn't improve the game but increases the demographic liable to finish it. Not the same thing.
