Welcome Ashen One.
Welcome Ashen One
Cometh thou to confess? Or to accuse?
Hardest boss fight you've experienced?
Keh heh heh heh heh heh
Manus at SL1 was pretty tough.
Fume Knight was pretty tough but the DS3 DLC bosses were on average very difficult to solo.
Defiled Watchdog, easily.
Manus, I had such a gruelling time fighting him that I’ve never gone back to the DLC area again
So boring I didn't even finish it.
best girl
Just got this game yesterday. Probably gonna boot it up after work tomorrow. What am I in for lads?
That's not Shanalotte.
that's amazing bro, blog a bit more about it
One of the greatest games of the 2010’s
It’s weird, I’m a huge DS2fag but I’ve never really been into her. Something about her just kind of unsettles me, maybe it’s the time of her voice but she seems like she’s just manipulating me or hiding things
Have you played the first two? Been awhile since I played but the enemies definitely attack faster and are much more challenging on average than those in DS1 and DS2. The game is also full of references/armor/weapons from the first two games as well. The game also has some really good boss fights. Covenants in the game kind of suck but PvP is serviceable and pretty fun.
>What am I in for
Bloodborne with a coat of Dark Souls paint.
DS3 is by no means a bad game; but it certainly is a game that was shat out after a 12 month development frame, and it does show at times.
Part of the reason it was so boring was due to it having absolutely zero originality.
How so?
Nah she's not manipulating nothing. She lays it all out right before the Nashandra fight, along with her admission of loyalty far earlier.
Some of the mechanics that were previewed before the game came out, like creating your own bonfires anywhere you wanted seemed interesting. I think DS3 could have used another year of development time.
You can have interesting rehashes of the the same-old ideas.
DS3 is boring is because it is investor-safe, designed-by-committee tripe that only exists because of contractual obligation. There was never any vision or ambition behind it.
I played through DS1 and just finished Sekiro. My character is probably going to use a curved sword and a whip as a secondary weapon.
Uuuuuuh can I get a big mac combo, a quarter pounder with no pickles and extra mayo and lettuce, and a large ice coffee with extra cream?
I'm not talking about changing the core mechanics of Dark Souls I am talking about how every area feels like a discarded Bloodborne level, down to the obnoxious amount of clutter everywhere and even those retarded gravestones that decorate half the maps in this game. How about 90% of the NPCs is an EXACT copy of one from another game they couldn't even be bothered to redesign them and try to give them a new personality. They have Patches dress up as the fucking onion knight it was such redditor tier garbage I cannot believe Miyazaki was the lead credit for this game.
I could go on but it unironically making me seethe.
>I cannot believe Miyazaki was the lead credit for this game.
I'm pretty sure Tanimura did most of the actually legwork, and Miyazaki's name was slapped on for marketing reasons.
>Played Bloodborne and loved it
>Played Dark Souls Remastered and loved it
>Trying to play Dark Souls 2 now and it feels like shit and is full of new, stupid shit
I don't think that is true. They didn't use his name for Dark Souls 2 and I don't recall any marketing for DS3 that centered around Miyazaki. It's obvious they did not give a single fuck and just slapped together a Bloodborne Dark Souls Frankenstein game with remaining assets.
Was DS3 your first souls game?
Pre-nerf Dark Eater Midir on new game+4 made me want to pull my hair out. For those that don't know Midir, who already had a lot of health and did a shit ton of damage, had crazy scaling on new game+. They fixed it and a lot of the other newgame+ damage shit in a patch.
>feet cut cropped out
yawn
Never played it, thinking about skipping the rest of DS2 and just going straight at it.
>Can't kidnap Gwyndolin and Fire Keeper to make a kick ass dark age harem
What's even the point of playing this game? Besides kicking Sulyvahns teeth in of course.
