Absolutely genuine question - why do people cheat at Fall Guys? I can imagine if I were to do it, I'd get bored after one session. Sure, everyone will pay attention to you, but it's bad attention and you've ruined the game for everyone else. It's not like they've created chaos, or something preposterous and funny. I don't see how the allure could be to get more crowns, because they are only useful for spending on items that don't cost very much and a Legendary costume is only 10 crowns.
How do these people function on a basic level? I don't really understand who these people are or how they interact with others. Like, I kinda hate the majority of people and yet I wouldn't hack in a game in order to make everyone else lose. Do they still feel some kind of accomplishment from winning, in spite of basically having a function that makes them win? I can _only_ assume it's for the attention within the games themselves, but again, wouldn't it get boring fast?

I'm old and have had a lot of experience with hackers. They don't do it to win. They do it to cheat. They like the feeling of hacking something. It makes them feel good to hack something. There is literally nothing you can do to deter them from enjoying this. You can insult them, rage, quit games, whatever. They'll always be there hacking. It's what they do. Go visit a hacker forum and see how they talk about it. They just like to get away with it.

I think there's generally two types of hackers in Fall Guys: pure hackers and desperation hackers. The first type is what is talking about. They do it because they know how and just simply don't give a shit. The other type are kids that started playing the game without hacks, but couldn't get a single crown even after playing for dozens of hours so they resort to cheating. You can tell the difference between the two because the first type know what they are doing and will effortlessly win whereas the second type of hacker will probably still fuck up and get eliminated.

I think the best way to get to these clowns is to just ignore them and report. Don't give them the satisfaction. They want to be called out.
