ABOMINATION

no u

this is a thinly veiled controller recommendation thread, OP knew if he just asked for a good controller with a dpad he'd receive less replies so he specifically chose the most ludicrous choice for a good dpad to get responses.

Well done OP, you almost gamed the system.
Too bad I'm here now.
And I'm not even going to give you a recommendation.

The rubber palm rests peel and do not go back on

Fuck this controller. I was scammed by Microsoft. It's literally made for manlets. Controller is so small that I can't comfortably hold it just for using trigger keys, it's just too small to have a firm grip.

you get what you pay for.

>it's just too small
that's what she said when she saw your pp

Based as fuck frogposter

isnt it like $100+?

touche...

ps vita has the best d-pad

>tfw vita died so quickly that it was off store shelves before the prices got really good
>missed out on what looks like a comfy as fuck emulation handheld

came here to post this
what's the official story behind sony somehow losing the blueprints to the best D-pad ever devised by man? The PS4 controller came out after the vita and it has this squishy, unresponsive bullshit instead of the perfection the vita had

This thing from 40 years ago

It's expensive but great while it lasts

button edges too sharp, it hurts fingers

doing god's work.
ty.

You ever try the vita dpad, its def underrated

Shame sony will never use it again

uncontested at the top

Weak fingers

This thing would have been so much better if it had a normal dpad
Why does it need two fucking touchpads

This is the worst controller ive ever tried to play with. The d-pad is useless and the haptic feedback touchpad is useless. I only ever use it to turn on my steamlink, then i use my nintendo switch pro or xbox controller to play.

that dpad is a very cool idea and I actually like it a lot. It's too bad the rest of the controller is an overpriced piece of shit and that rubber texture somehow makes the controller feels unbelievably slippery.

>use it to turn on my steamlink
you can do that without that controller user

Custom controllers have the best D-Pad.

Is that Elite dpad actually good?
I really want the paddles. Not at 150$ though

Too bad the QC on these is shit. Refunded mine after a few weeks.

That's part of why I consider DS4 to be a shit controller: while it's already mediocre and chintzy on its own, Sony didn't learn any of the lessons from the Vita's excellent D-Pad or face buttons. The Vita also did something else seemingly insignificant that I love it for: its D-Pad has a fucking middle. I utterly despise the Dualshock style where the buttons are separate on the top but the mechanism for them isn't.

That's not a d-pad, zoomie.
