I don't watch streams,but it makes sense if you are watching somebody for 4 hours a day, or however long streams usually last, to support them. Same way you pay for cable or anything else.

Oh no, my squandering days are behind me. It's what put me in this shitty situation. Been working my ass off for the past six years to fix it. I'm on the home stretch. Almost out of the woods. Then I can swap jobs, take something that doesn't pay as much but I can actually work my way up in. My current job has me in a shitty spot. Paying me more then what I'd get starting out somewhere but not quite enough to carve out a comfortable little space and I've hit the ceiling here. Just 10k right now would put me at the 'out of the woods, time to do better' space.

The difference is male streamers often have talent since they can't rely on their boobs to get viewers. I think moonmoon is a perfect example. There's a reason the dude has the most high tier subs on the site or something. He is actually a funny dude. Most female streamers not only aren't fucking funny, but they often spend a lot of the stream saying or doing nothing, are extremely negative, and are dumb as a rock.
