Just like IO, I'm broke.

Would like to preorder, but waiting until we see more gameplay. Probably would've preordered straight away if it weren't for the epic exclusivity, now I'm more cautious about whether the game will deliver like the other two did.
>surely breaking off from square will make things better
>it gets worse
Fuck my shit.
Whatever people blamed Square Enix for, finds out it wasn't even their fault.
Even episodic release was something IO wanted to do themselves.
Did they put H3 on Epic because of the Steam refund trick?
Probably. Its either that or their fucked up expansion pass model didn't make them enough money.
Would have bought it on release but they decided to take Tim's shekels. Now I'll wait a few years for the inevitable $10 gold edition sale.
no, because "our partnership with Epic has given us the freedom to create HITMAN 3 exactly as we imagined"
they paid them money
I'll probably end up buying and installing that shitty launcher,I love hitman.
when I saw the deluxe suits I thought that maybe I'll get it, but then I saw the price
IO isn't broke though, they already went through that phase. And this time around they are being financed by both sony and the chinese communis- uhh I mean Epic. Also this deluxe edition is kinda eh, its 80 dollars for some meh extra stuff, kinda lame cosmetics (except for that golden mask suit from blood money, it looks amazing) and fucking escalations of all things. No missions at all? does this mean we'll only have 6 maps in the new game? if so thats really dissapointing
Imagine making two huge games, getting told pretty much the only flaw with them is the anti consumer way they're sold, and then deciding to double down on that anyways. They aren't even that big and yet they're making Ubishit and EA look generous by comparison.
>deluxe escalations
are you shitting me
>driving gloves
They are just desperate for money since the previous games both bombed and this will also.
I think they are just waiting with announcing any dlc because people got confused with the different editions for hitman 2.
I'll wait until the actual PC release and get my key from CDkeys cheap.
>digital soundtrack
>digital book
These people have no idea what special editions are anymore.
They're really going to fucking make it Epic exclusive? It's such a shitty thing to do - just change your distribution platform for the 3rd game in a trilogy.
Well, I guess it sucks I won't be able to use all my old unlocks in the pirated edition
This. Would have literally bought both of their games if not for the confusing and jewish way they're selling it. I just want to pay my $60 and get my fucking game not me nickle and dimed during my whole time with it
The game is fine. But, man, they have some serious problems with design and management. They make some of the stupidest fucking decisions in regards to what paying customers want. Always-online, EGS exclusive, episodic releases ... just what the fuck?
It's for a year and I have my doubts about pirating it as the cracking groups seems pretty fucking dead.
>last game in a trilogy
>Epic exclusive
Yeah nah. Go fuck yourself.
>chinese suit
ahh most excerrent youtu.be
>it's a new game
no thank you, would've gotten it if it was something like a map pack instead
the only reason dev put games on epic its for the exclusive check
So let me get this straight, if I buy HITMAN 3 on PS4, I can transfer all my progress for free to PS5? Is this the only way to transfer HITMAN 2016 and HITMAN 2 progress to next gen consoles?
Anyways, that all red suit in the 'trinity pack' looks ugly as fuck but cool they are adding nostalgia bait outfits again. Hopefully they won't keep first-person mode to VR only.
No, Epic probably paid off a sizable % of development costs in return for exclusivity.
No they are not you don't know what you're talking about.
>Hitman 3
I just love how friggin ridiculous this is. It's still just Hitman: Season 3. They're still releasing the full games when they would have completed a new season of contracts, your unlocks still remain as if it was all just one platform, and you don't have to pay for playing your existing content with the sequel's upgraded base mechanics because it's not actually a sequel in the slightest. Even if it's not episodic anymore, they're basically just beefed up expansion passes, but they're selling them as standalone sequels, and the kicker is that the audience knows this but would bitch to the ends of the earth if the label was any different. Not to mention they've done themselves more harm than good if anything, considering a few select things do actually remained locked to each game.
If you could point to one game that points out the pettiness and autistic insanity of the average consumer, this is it
Yeah, between this and Gotham Knights (will probably be an EGS exclusive seeing how the Arkham Knight remaster is only available on said store) I might just admit defeat and install that piece of shit client.
Depends on my backlog, I've waited for non-EGS releases before.
FWIW your unlocks from H1 and H2 on Steam wil transfer over to H3 since all the Hitman account data is stored on IO's servers.
You know damn fine fucking well what I was talking about.
>H1 and H2 on Steam wil transfer over to H3 since all the Hitman account data is stored on IO's servers.
Oh so you can do the Steam refund trick still to get the H2 maps for free?
To correct
>your unlocks still remain as if it was all just one platform
This is true for Hitman 2 > Hitman 3 but not from Hitman 1 > 2, so while it's true now it wasn't before, though it stands that the reason why it wasn't true was because people were so adamant about Hitman 2 being Hitman 2 despite being just Hitman: Season 2
