Sorry DMCkeks, Vergil DLC is never happening

I understand the argument for just making a brand new DMC over DMC5SE, even if the gameplay is copypasted from 5 it would sell way better. Casual players need new story content to get excited.

DMC5 needs divergence though, think of the poor console peasants. Plus if they're working on a new game with Vergil during 5SE's production they can just port him from one game to another, it's super efficient.

Dante is away from the DMC office with some other shit leaving Nero and Vergil to take requests, over time Vergil notices Nero's slow lust for power and is actually proud of his son, even shrugging of Kyrie's concerns, eventually the big bad demon of the game appears, defeats Nero, persuades him to join him and then leaves, this is when Vergil starts listening to Kyrie and then the rest of the game resolves around Vergil beating the minions of this new demon and then saving Nero, Vergil will come to accept his human side and be a better father to Nero and a good grandfather

I did. It is not something Vergil would be proud of as his whole journey as V was understanding his mistakes, coming to terms with what made him what he is, and change. There's no way he would praise his son for starting down the same path as he did so I question if you even paid attention of you played it.
