You literally have to replay 2-3 hours of content you have already seen (twice probably) just to see what? 15 minutes of new content?

Except the original game would have altered cutscenes, different bosses, different events would happen, and it'd even change stuff like how Ada "dies", how Annette dies, and if Sherry gets impregnated.
It keeps you on your toes during replays.
Also, it'd change what areas you have to go to, which included the oft forgotten scenario where Leon has to go to Irons' office to get an item.

RE mastery is about puzzle memorization and inventory management at the highest level, not fucking boss fights. shows how little you understand the games.

They would not have, if the zoomer homos would not have praised this de-make to high heavens thanks to endless shilling.

Ok. But you will never change how most people ultimately received REmake 2 positively while still acknowledging it's faults and shortcomings. It's not better than the original but it's the best RE game since RE4 and it completely deserves to be the fastest selling RE game in history.

I love RE2make just because of how refined the experience is but yeah I don't know how anyone can defend how badly they botched the A/ routes.

It's so Unbelievably polished in some aspects. The biggest deal to me was shooting a zombies head off, playing for hours, getting to the sewers even and when i came back to the RPD later he was still there where i left him, headless exactly as i had left him. Basically nothing in this game disappears. I find it incredible that a PS4 Pro can run it at 60fps if i am quite honest.

They probably wanted a real A/B but couldn't get it done in time so stitched together a slightly remixed route instead
What I wish we could have got is a special mode where you have to escape the police station but the items and obstacles/enemies/shutters are randomised according to different seeds. Seems an obvious inclusion to me, shame.
