Buying a ps4 next month. besides kh3 remind, ghosts and cs iv what games does this thing have...
If you have a 4k tv get a pro I guess, but a slim should do you more than fine.
The Uncharted games, Persona, Spider-Man, and God of War should give you enough for a start.
Also give Death Stranding a look, see if it interests you but it's not for everyone
Are you also looking for multiplats as well?
nah just ps4 exclusives. i have a PC so i play multiplats on that.
i tried spiderman before on my brothers ps4 wasnt that great but i may give it another shot. ill add GoW to my list. DS doesnt seem like my kind of game.
>buying a ps4 next month
Why would you ever? The PS5 is coming out and will play PS4 games.
>and will play PS4 games.
Not all of them.
i have a PC and theres no way they are going to stop making games for the ps4 anytime soon.
The "overwhelming majority" will work at launch.
Also it doesnt say here but the ''slim'' version is smaller but I am sure you knew that already
To recommend some other games, the infamous series is good but they usually go on sale from time to time. Bloodborne if you like those types of games.
>i have a PC
How does this justify buying the PS4 at the end of it's life when the next iteration will be backwards compatible?
SotC, The Last Guardian, Vanillaware games, Sakura Wars, SMTIII Nocturne HD, Persona 5 Scramble.
A lack of interest in next-gen titles and a cheaper price tag.
Not every game will be backwards compatible.
FF7R if you don't want to wait
Thousands will be and all of the exclusives will be which is all that matters anyway.
ps5 will be expensive and i can buy a slim and all the games i want to play for dirt cheap. theres really no downside its not like playing the games when they first come out is different than playing them afterwards. most next gen titles will be multiplat or be on the ps4 as well so i dont lose.
>lack of interest in next-gen titles
Sure now. But there will be titles worth getting it for later in it's life. It's like buying the PS1 when the PS2 was about to come out.
Imagine actually believing this when PS5 will start having good third-party games 3 years into its lifespan or longer
>most next gen titles will be multiplat or be on the ps4
There's already several titles announced to be PS5 only. I wouldn't expect much support after 2021. They're not gonna want to hold back next-gen titles by making versions for 8 year old hardware.
So you can get the PS5 for cheaper when those titles do come out a year or two down the line.
Getting a console on launch is a waste unless the hardware interests you.
then i will just buy a ps5 a year or two after they come out. i dont need to play things at launch
PS4 doesn’t really have enough exclusives to justify buying one if you have a PC
>buying a console at launch
Since it took two years for the PS4 to get its first game, and another 3 to get a few more decent exclusives, it’s probably best to wait a few years
The switch was pretty front loaded h
coldsteel, hajimari, kh3 and ghosts i want to play and its not a lot of money
Wait for the ps5 you dumbfuck, all your exclusive normie sony movie games will be backward compatible.
Why would you buy a new console for older titles when you can wait for the new console to be cheaper you moron
>Not all of them.
Guarantee you Sony will make every PS4 first-party game playable on PS5 and you did say you only want the PS4 for exclusives. Wait for PS5.
Because you'll end up spending more anyways buying the old console and then waiting to spend more money on the new one.
>buying a ps4 next month
Don't. Either buy a PS5 that has backwards compatibility, or buy one of the $200 PS4 slims plus game bundles that they'll be selling in about 2 months.
You can sell the older console if you feel so inclined to, but you should be thinking much more long-term than this user. Two smaller purchases with reason is better than one big meaningless one.
how hasn't anyone mentioned Bloodborne?
Because everyone knows Bloodborne is a game worth a try.
This also. Even if you're against getting the 5 it's still a stupid time to get the 4.
Time has value for some of us, I dont have time to go around and sell in the used market for like 200-300? Better off have some patience and get one thing and be done with it. Also those "best of ps4" will most likely have the optimized for ps5 treatment.
