not bad. A lot of the solutions are really obscure to figure out, but that's really my only issue. The world is charming and very unique and I enjoy following people around throughout the day to figure out shit about them.
alright so far
on echoday, the baker will leave his store and go to the bar and get drunk. When he returns home he'll be so drunk he won't lock his door. Go into his store and into his back room to find out his secret... it's very interesting, let's just say that
btw if you want to get rich quick, go fishing in the desert east of your house. you have to use a cactus to get up to the spot, but the fish there sell for 350 to 750ish
pack extra food though, since once you're up to the spot you won't be able to leave for a while
moon-rpg.com
here's the original manual for the psx games translated to english and edited to show switch controls
>no moon in the subject
>no moon in the filename
>no moon in the post
this game is false advertising. It's literally not an RPG it's an adventure game
No you see it's an ANTI-RPG, so it's like subversive and stuff man.
How is the localisation? Tim Rogers did it
well they spent six months more on it than they thoguht they would, it better be good.
Does the game save when you sleep?
yes
how many animals have you saved? i'm at 23
dont kno. haven't found a good nsp yet
I know this game (amongst others) inspired Undertale but when I saw the trailer for it it made it come off like it was a dime a dozen indie game desperately riding Undertale's coattails and that kinda put me off
what the fuck kind of sense does that even make
Will there be a PC version?
>zoomer, the post
just emulate 4head
Seeing the promotional material for this game has made me realize that I've completely outgrown the Japanese style of speech/writing. I find it absolutely insufferable, and now it's everywhere thanks to you-know-who.
Is this new version identical to the old one?
it doesn't I'm just a turboautist getting upset about bad marketing
the thing is the way they sell it, it looks like the kinda shit that everyone that hates Undertale thinks Undertale is. And I doubt it's like that but fuck man that's a horrible way to get people interested.
I'll probably check it out when I have some spare cash and/or time I dunno
>the thing is the way they sell it, it looks like the kinda shit that everyone that hates Undertale thinks Undertale is.
Is it really that different? I doubt you're going to be able to play it without constantly being reminded of Undertale, nowadays.
but, for once, OP did in fact post an image instead of ahegao
Literally the only similarities are the focus on love rather than exp and a strange world. Moon is not an RPG in any sense of the word, there is no combat, it is an adventure game with puzzle solving and it is also non-linear.
It's more like the album everyone was actually inspired by but doesn't mention because it's too close to their own work. A ton of obscure games and even big names post moon make more sense now.
Just started it.
Its been fun so far.
Only issue is the whole stamina/love/time limit thing which fucks you over if you explore too much but I'm sure thats the main draw of the game, upgrade yourself to explore more.
I am glad Plok 2 decided to go in a new direction
who knows, I ain't paying $19 for it. Maybe when it's half off, but so far looks like a tryhard wannabe rip off of Undertale with PS1 graphics instead of kino Super Nintendo 16-bit aesthetic
maybe i'll watch a let's play instead if a good twitch streamer plays through it
Least put some effort in your bait.
>so far looks like a tryhard wannabe rip off of Undertale with PS1 graphics
This game came out in 1997, user
just buy bread 4head, replenishes your action limit
fine so far? seems close enough
