Is Roche going to show up again? He was corny as fuck, but the bike fight and boss fight with him were incredible, and considering he's the only other member of SOLDIER we've seen beyond Cloud, Seph, and Zack, I think we should see him again. I hope we do.

How is Yuffie going to show up in Part 2? They're pretty much going to have to make it mandatory and not optional now, so I wonder how they're going to treat it. Also seems like they're going to shun open world mechanics given how part 1 was, so again I wonder how they'll put her in.

Thirdly, I just am curious how far you anons think the game is going to get in Part 2. Reckon we'll get to Junon? Reckon we'll get to Gold Saucer? Some mad anons think we'll get to the emotional Cloud and Tifa scene after he awakes from his coma.

For all his bravado of "oh this fight wasn't good enough, we will have our proper duel soon!" it was really stupid that they didn't include him at all during the "escape from Shinra HQ sequence. Even a cutscene explaining why he couldn't be there would've been alright, but just not mentioning the motorbike prodigy SOLDIER while you escape Shinra HQ on a motorbike seemed silly.

Also, I am curious. Why are no other members of SOLDIER ever mentioned or present in these games beyond Cloud, Seph, and Zack? I assume it's a larger organisation that them considering its notoriety, yet aside from Roche we've never seen any other members. What IS up with that?

they pretty much made it clear that after Remake, everything is going to be made up. i doubt games moving forward is going to follow the same story progression.

I agree that people who expect the same series of events are idiots, but on the other hand they can't completely disregard the original progression. It'll still have to feature the same areas and characters at least. It might be whole new "future", but it's still occurring in the same world.
So long as Yuffie is there and we get some of Cloud sneaking around as a Shinra trooper in Junon I'll be content.
