Is the Retroid Pocket 2 good?
Any other emulation handhelds that can compete right now? Phonefags not welcome, back to /vmg/ with you

I'll tell you right now that it can't actually play pokemon stadium at full speed with audio on
Oh that's a shame. Do you have one? What is the quality of the buttons/dpad?
>another cheap chinese handheld that cant even run n64 games
No thanks
How bad is the audio latency? I stopped emulating on my phone for this reason
It seems like one of the few that can handle N64 actually
I bought one about a week ago but it still hasn't shipped
If it's using the best emulator (Mupen64 Next), it still can't handle N64 correctly, so no.
There's so many of these emulator handhelds, why is this one better than the others?
vita
How is it for PS1 games? Would love to have all of my JRPGs on the go.
Why not just use your phone with a controller case?

just buy a used n3dsxl and a psp. why the fuck would anyone need this?
why is this being shilled so hard lately?
Price maybe ?
chinkbots
Yeah this eventually what I am going to use, I am kinda excited how close I am to emulating heavier stuff.
My Redmi note 9 can run Timesplitters 2 and 3, but at around 20 or so FPS, so I can't play them but for a 160€ telephone I think that is pretty good.
>$1000+ phone
Right now the Odroid Go Advance and it's various clones are slightly better specs-wise but the fact that the Retroid 2 runs android gives it some unique advantages.
Too bad you can't get it anymore. And the clones are all cheaply made.
I wish the Retroid 2 has the d-pad at the top rather than analog, its one of the few things keeping me away from it.
I kinda want one bros... Anyone have one that can say what the build and emulation quality is like?
What color should I get if I go grab one?
You don't have one already?
>Android
>No touchscreen
Retroid still haven't shipped and I paid like August 18th
cause it looks really cute and well designed. relatively speaking compared to previous cheap emulation handhelds
I bought the indigo one. Here's hoping its as cool as it looks.
I'm a sucker for these chink emulation devices, I also have a 280m and its fantastic.
I ordered mine the 10th, they emailed me and said to expect delays. It's fine, I have my 3DS, PSP and GPD XD plus to hold me over.
nice man, I went with the retro one (colored variant one) Im really hoping in the future they offer a full metal one like they did with the RG350M.
I don't have the 2nd Pocket but the first one was very good quality, felt like a Nintendo product almost.
small form factor, I want to play my Gameboy and handheld titles on the go. I too have a 3DSXl and a Psp.
can't wait bros
Yeah it was between the retro one with purple buttons or the indigo for me.
I really like purple and the GBA flavored one looked a little more unique so I went for it, hope its as slick as the pics make it out to be, haven't seen any reviewer but Taki with the indigo one but his was a preproduction one.
I went for that color too. Like most people I was on the fence about this but when I saw it could do great Dreamcast emulation with Flycast I just had to get it.
I want something with a modern charging port. I'm not carrying three different cable with me for all my devices
I wouldn't call that great, but I'm glad it can even do DC at all.
Bought mine mainly for a stopgap between my 280m and something potentially better in the future. Unsure if I'll like it more than the 280 but it being able to pull off a lot of N64 is impressive for sure.
>another $200 chinkshit with switch thumbsticks that struggles with ps1/n64
Just buy a $20 2ds/psp and play pokemon emerald on it.
it literally uses the same applications as a phone, you're talking about a phone. fuck off to /vmg/ faggot.
>if something runs android it must be a phone
This is the stupidest fucking logic I've heard in a hot minute, how does it feel being a fucking brainlet?
Guess my car nav system is a phone now
