Is Control (ultimate edition) worth 22€? I'm tempted at to pull the trigger

Heard this game was super confusing - poor map/navigation, have to find and read a lot of notes to understand the story. Anyone who played can confirm?

Wait for GOG release, it'll be there in a few weeks.

This "ultimate" edition completely ripped off the people who bought the game originally.
People bought the game when it came out and then many also bought the DLC/Season pass too.
Now they've released their game only a year after its initial release, but with one big difference.
Only the "ultimate" edition will be backwards compatible with the next-gen consoles.
There is no legitimate reason for this other than wanting to sell more copies of their game.
I'm blaming the publisher not the developer.
I don't find this game very good regardless. Finished it once and don't care to play it again.

Had this on my wishlist on steam but after everything I've heard about the people behind this game and the shit they've done I removed it and won't even bother pirating it. Another woke game in the trash

Im have around 8 hours in it. So far its a good game.
The gameplay is great with alot of physics objects and debris flying all around you in fights gives this very dynamic and chaotic feel to every encounter. Its reminds me somewhat of half life 2 back in the day.
The game structure caught me offguard, since its a remedy game and I was expecting more of a linear game progression. They went with the metroidvania approach to level design, which is not good or bad, but you might spend some time in empty hallways looking for the right door to progress.
The story is interesting enough and it has that quirky remedy charm that is present in their other games, even tho the characters and most of the dialogue is absolute cringe.

Overall is a nice game with lot of cool technical details. The visuals and visual style of the game is absolute top tier. Its well worth the 32euros on steam

Sounds stupid and in this specific case it is since its a single player game, but i've been in situations where it was 100% true that the CM made a game worth playing (and the one after them completely ripped everything apart.)
