I'm buying one.
I'm buying one
When when the "pro" versions arrive within 3 years?
Good on you, although getting a console at the beginning of this gen is pants on retarded because there are no games to justify the purchase, I salute your decision.
I'm buying a Series X
Same, brother.
The new xbox will have no games for the first 2 years
I'm buying one of these dirt cheap for 4K XBOX games once OP console launches
I’m buying a PS5
Based xchads
I buy every console because I'm not poot
Don't @ me
I'm buying one.
so am i. with sony's new hdmi 2.1 tv and a 5.1 surround system.
lol ok dude
>Buying SONY OLEDs or LCDs
MISTAKE
Can I install windows and use kbm?
I'm gonna have SeX. Zig Forums
Why would you want to do that
I lived long enough to see microsoft make the less retarded console offering again... what a time to be alive.
Their oleds are good for watching movies
Cheaper and better performing pc for 500 than an actual 500 dollar pc
Why are the new gen consoles so ugly?
>Trusting Microsoft not to pull a kinect again
Love the 360 but man i'l belive it when I see it.
Me too.
Still didn't stop PS4 being the number 1 console via uptakes. It's always multiplats in any new future gen, the problem with Microsoft is that PS5 will have a small library of exclusive titles this time. Arguably cinematic like games will look better on PS and Gameplay focused games better on Microsoft, but come the fuck on if both sides start developing smarter games now. It's been a fucking decade and where is my Brothers in Arms type FPS? Everyone put their money on fucking Bungie & 343 and look how that turned out, when it comes to game play if the formula doesn't get better then cinematic games despite being actual fucking video games were the better choice since those developers actually have another title released in 2 years.
i know but i live in europe and all the options here for hdmi 2.1 tv's are cucked. you get samsung tv's which are awesome picture quality outside of gamemode but in gamemode they nerf the image quality and local dimming and it looks like a shitty low end tv. also samsung doesn't support dolby vision which is shit considering most new shows on disney+ and netflix support it. sony is like the middle ground option. not the best at anything but it's the cheapest for a 65" and offers full hdmi 2.1 features and dolby vision.
I ain't buying sheit. Maybe in a year or two if there's a game that I'm interested in, otherwise there's too many games I haven't gotten to.
>local dimming
Fuck does LG still do that? I have a LG LCD I bought around 2015 and the only way to circumvent is it to set the HDMI jacks to PC. What faggot bitch even implements this garbage, you can't even fully turn it off with a service remote.
I'm getting one, not on launch tho, 2020 and covid fucked everything up.
Anybody going for preorder or day one is retarded, user.
All consoles had iteration 1 problems the last 2 gens and all consoles pulled some bullshit. I'm gonna wait a year or two before even considering what to get. And even then it's probably mostly decided by the exclusives.
You can switch it off quite easily on new ones.
If you want to play games play them on a 500$ console
If you want to do spreadsheets do them on your laptop
local dimming is good. you get better contrast and deeper blacks. i think you're confusing it for something else. samsung tv's in gamemode completely nerf local dimming so the image looks washed out and equivalent to a shitty low end tv. the benefit is they achieve like 10ms input lag but if you're buying an expensive tv for gaming you don't want shit image quality in gamemode and sony tv's don't nerf the image as hard so you get a good image but with slightly higher input lag at around 15ms. that's still under 1 frame at 60 fps so it's going to be basically unnoticeable.
I just bought an X1X, that will hold me over for the next 2 years.
Based poorfag
It works good for movies, but games such as Resident Evil Remake are flat out unplayable with local dimming on this IPS TV.
I'm going to pirate one
