I remember when FFVII came out, practically everyone I knew got a copy, even if they were the most normal normalfags who only played sports games, and they all loved it.
I talked to one of them recently and they mentioned Remake and how it was "totally gay" now, pretty much.
For anyone who isn't familiar with the compilation and kingdom hearts and stuff, and the way square has been making games the past few years, remake is just a bewildering experience that they're probably not going to enjoy.
