Darksiders 4 is currently in development for Xbox SX and PS5. The main gimmick will be all 4 horseman working together to solve puzzles and complete objectives. It will support 4 player co-op, and will expand upon the systems seen in the first two entries. Breath of the wild seems to be a big inspiration for the world structure. The team has been taking criticism of 3 to heart. Each character can
In addition, there's a new first person red faction game being worked on. The footage I've seen makes it look like far cry, but with highly destructible environments. It struck me as something not achievable on previous gen hardware, so it's definitely exciting. Load times are minimal.
A new Destroy all humans has been greenlit, but I wouldn't expect it to launch for a few years.
Biomutant has been moved to next gen. Switch port was cancelled.
Expect some remasters of Timesplitters to hit the previous gen systems in the coming months.
Following the retrieval of the PC version's source code, volition has decided and confirmed that it will be also be consulting with an external developer to remaster and rerelease saints row 2 on previous gen systems. It will be a similar situation to the remaster of 3. It may come to switch.
There's a few new ips coming soon as well. One is a comic book fighting game that reminded me of comix zone on the genesis/mega drive. It looks really early in development.
Kingdoms of amalur, if all goes well with the remaster, will receive a sequel.
>Expect some remasters of Timesplitters to hit the previous gen systems in the coming months. Can you give any more details, and is there any hope for a fourth title?
Darksiders 1 was the only good one. >will expand upon the systems seen in the first two entries Loot system = no buy

I'll take the bait, insider man. This all sounds good and all, but can you get the rights to Army Men and reboot the franchise? I want a RTS remake, thanks in advance
Everyone that love ds 1 and 2 and hope for a good sequels instead of pseudo soulslike DS3.

Yes, they're just remasters. Nothing particularly special. Bumped up resolution and textures. Look at the remaster of perfect dark for XBLA if you want an idea of what to expect. Viability for a Timesplitters 4 will likely be judged by the success of the remaster, sadly. Have to admit that I'm a little bummed by that.
Julian Nelson
everyone who likes darksiders.
sadly ds3 was fucking garbage.
Ethan Campbell
At least it's something, although I'm a bit bummed about having to unlock everything all over again. Any word on whether they will be bundled together or sold as separate games? And if they would land on the Switch and have local w-ifi multiplayer?
Jace Morales
I'm not super into the red faction franchise, but saw the player gunning down dudes who look like the combine from hl2. Id assume it's a continuation of guerrilla, as it was the most successful entry in the series. (They ragdoll like crazy. It's hilarious)
Oliver Phillips
What makes the PC source code special enough to actually make a remaster possible?
Christopher Lee
When's DAH2 and BFBB 2 fuck off Moviefags your game is unsalvageable
They're not especially demanding games, and the Timesplitters titles have always seemed to resonate with the PlayStation and Nintendo crowds. It would be a trilogy, of course, due to the unambitious porting process. My prediction with the switch ports: they'll release them as a bundle on the eshop with the option for individual purchases, and drop a physical version at a later date. Cartridge size could be a problem though.
