Wasteland 3

What's your team like?
What companions you picked?

I play coop games a lot with my brother, seems this may be a good choice. Never played a wateland game before. Thoughts?

is there a way to reset skill points, even with cheats? cba to replay everything or level newly made rangers from scratch

not currently but cheatengine table for skills should be made eventually

Why does coop not work? Cant direct connect.

how hard is the supreme jerk?

what did u niggas do with the synth at the museum? I killed him, but I wonder what happens if you let him go.

I can't quite put my finger on it but I'm not enjoying this game as much as W2.

Is it more combat focused now?

Should I play wasteland 1 and 2 first?

is there permadeath for characters in this game? also how does the companion recruitment system work? Thanks fren

I did a kickstarter for this game like 8 fucking years ago. I don't have the slightest clue how to even claim it. I haven't given a shit about since a week after giving them my money. That was the last pre-order I ever did.

I'm playing as the two punks. It's really fun so far with melee and shotgun. Hard Ass is a useful perk

How good is the game on a scale of

Fallout 3

Oh forgot, just picked up the tomcat who smokes ciggies as a companion. He's cool

Combat is way better than og fallout. The writing is good so far. I didn't like fallout 3 so idk. I'd say better than Wasteland 2

I have this sitting in my Steam library right now ready to go; but I'm starting to get concerned I was sold a bill of false goods.
Based on what I've read- is it safe to say this is an overtly linear experience/only providing choice in story choices?

>n overtly linear experience/only providing choice in story choices?
Wastelands (at least 2) is polar opposite of that? Lots of choices, many of which you can take only with specific skills/circumstances so that every insignifican skill matters and dicision affecting story

>Underrail

Only the prologue part is linear

Underrail is a very bad example of attempt of making Fallout game, as opposed to good example - Atom RPG.

It fails in most aspects, people praising it are the same kind that think dwarf fortress is deep

I've seen people saying there's no free travel to explore, barely any dialogue options, skill checks are non existent- "you basically just fail outright if you don't have it on the same level"

Who the fuck have you been talking to? I've done like 3-4 dialogue checks in the last 20 mins

Well this is good to hear

>Wastelands 2
Fallout desert and scavangers and rangers
>Wastelands 3
Cyberninjas, Mechas, Alien technology, Iron Man suits

Did i buy the right game?

>Underrail is a very bad example of attempt of making Fallout game
I agree with you Underrail have actually fun and interesting combat loot and character customization as opposed any other fallout game that is literally in 90% combat but combat is snore fest

If i wanted to play Underrail but not shit, i`d play Shadowrun Trilogy

Wastelands 3 has a mercenary team, and the punk team are like scavengers. Haven't seen any alien tech yet

Bro just admit it you got filtered in depot a and thats why you dont like the game I promise I wont laugh

>Jenkem RPG
>better than anything
>is there permadeath for characters in this game?
Post-launch patch, SOON(tm)
For me

Its the Straights

i really dont like it when people compare underrail to fallout. if underrail is trying to be a spiritual sequel to fallout, it's not doing a very good job

fallout was exceptionally good at "show, don't tell" whereas underrail throws paragraphs of exposition and video gamey tutorials at you just to make sure you dont accidenhtally come to your own conclusions or use your imagination. instead of "play however you like, you can still beat the game", underrail supposedly also tells you "oh sorry bud you didnt minmax so you are soft locked gg no re kid"

Hah fuck no.
Underrail makes some pretty retarded design decisions.

Holy shit git gud. If you can't homebrew an UR build to clear DOMINATING just end it all

Meanwhile FNV makes no design decisions making a bland game with the same enemies same guns same perks same everything

>stealing a build some autist came up with is hard
Yawn. Such a boring trash game.

Whats the best weapon to go crit with?
Also is there a point maxing attributes or skills or is there stuff that boosts your attributes/skills?

Haven't played it yet but have exactly the same question, can any user give an answer?

greetings reddit
kinda embarassing desu

that's the thing, fallout is fundamentally not a game to worry about numbers autism in. fallout is about the dialogue, the setting and the atmosphere. underrail is a game about numbers, from what i can tell.

don't @ me, trash

Underrail doesn't even have a story. It's laughable to even put it beside New Vegas.
Well, both are better than fucking Wasteland, it's like the very bottom of the barrel - it'd be actually challenging to find a worse post-apocalypse-themed game.

Not 1.
