Gotham Knights is a game in which you can play as Nightwing (Dick Grayson), Robin (Tim Drake), Red Hood (Jason Todd) or Batgirl (Barbara Gordon). You can play it solo or co-op with your friend. Open world that is fully available right from the beginning.

You can use any character you want during any point in the game. You can just 100% the game as Jason if you want.

it wasn't the case in Arkham Knight, you could glide around everywhere but you had to bring down bridges to traverse everywhere with the car which was both necessary for some side content and without the car turrets in there could shoot you down and the only way to bring down the bridges was to progress in the main story.
