Lots of companies are trying to get in, the thing is that corruption and huge taxation prevent them from establishing a prosperous business. Also, currency in Latam overall is not that great.
One of the most stable currencies in Latam is the Mexican Peso, and it has gone from 2 to 1 to the dollar at the beginning of the 2000's to 21 to the dollar.
Same story with the reais, the chilean peso, the peruvian sol, and don't even get me started on the argentinean peso and the venezuelan bolivar.

This is why most companies usually target Chile, Brazil and Mexico, because at the end of the day these countries are the most financially stable in the region and with a market big enough to draw interest.

I know Paraguay, Bolivia and Uruguay are even more stable than those three, but at the end of the day, there's barely any people living in these three countries.

We live in crazy times user, poor people eat cheap food that's bad for you therefore they become fat, they also don't have time to exercise because they spent all their time working and commuting to work. In the old times being fat was a sign of wealth.
