Lost Empire, that part where the paths sorta warp you around and you have to find your way out. I think it was after Belle if I'm not mistaken.

There is one way to kill puppet boy without sin but it involves doing stuff a bit out of order and it's probably cumbersome. Just bite the bullet and kill him, then get Ezwald to absolve your sin in the forest.
