Cherry Reds suck fucking ass for anything other than gaming. Unless you have girly little fingies, you'll accidentally press keys all the fucking time. Get Blacks, like a real man.

Blue master race.

they arent even that cheap any more

>Unless you have girly little fingies
I do have smol girl(male) fingers though

Browns suck. There's no satisfying sound and it's not smooth like Reds. Its like its trying to be both while failing at being either.

there aren't any nkro buckling springs though, are there?

People care about the sound? The quieter the better

>Cherry Red
more of a midnight blue man myself

I use a G13 for games.
But I was thinking of switching from cherry mx blues to Kalih BOX Navy for typing.
Thoughts?

>both the keyboard+mouse goes for under 20 bucks on Amazon
>i-it's not that cheap anymore!
how poor are you?

Feels smooth to me, like a babys asscheek

they should be $5. Nowadays you can buy much better stuff for $15-20

gives me finger cramps.

Browns are the happy middle ground between blue and red. I hate the actuation of blue and red, but brown is just right.

Model F keyboards have NKRO

No, you really can't beat the Logitech K120 and a mouse for 16 bucks, which is what it's currently selling for on Amazon.

Got a test board and yeah, Red is a little too soft. Will probably go for Black when I get a mechanical keyboard.

I switch between red and blue based on if I want to be a bit quieter. if you arent super prone to errors you can be faster on reds though personally I prefer the actuation and sound of blues

>blacks
>real man
can't hear you over the slam of my greens, kid

I sadly had to buy a shitty Corsair board to learn my lesson. Double whammy: Cherry Reds and shitty fucking loose keycaps that come flying off when you play Tetris The Grand Master 3
Now ordered a Durgod K320 off AliExpress

Just got a keyboard with silent reds and I love the sound level and am fairly happy with the feel. Not used to linear yet

Get Box Navies, bro. They're like if Blue was louder, angrier, and had access to a time machine

oh I was asking about those. I don't care about sound. But they are heavier and more stable right?

MX Clears are the true master race switches. Prove me wrong

i'm still using one of those, i think it has more than 10 years
i'm tempted to buy a mechanical keyboard, but they are so expensive around here and i keep hearing that even the cherry ones have issues with double clicking

Yeah, I like them much more. I'm sure the guys at the mechanical keyboard thread on /g/ could give you more actual info, but if you like Blues I think you'll enjoy em. I do, at least.

Bought a red and it is mushy as fuck. I hate it!

Oh yeah: and the space bar on Corsair keyboards is fucking THUNDEROUS. It's so loud. It rattles. Fucking awful.
