Why the hell does the store only have one upgrade? Why hide that behind updates?

Do you absolutely have to shake trees to get them? I've gotten some pine cones that way, but it was like a 1:6 ratio of pine cones to sticks after tons of shaking.

I have no idea. I thought they would surely add more upgrades but it's already been six months since the game came out.

It feels like this game died already. The content-gutted release compared to New Leaf, shitty live service update model, lacking updates and mobile game-like new holiday format really crippled it. And the huge focus on terraforming and decorating over animal interactions leaves you bored quicker than any other entry in the series. As soon as you're done terraforming, you're basically done playing. Talking to animals feels like a waste of time in this one thanks to rarity of giving you jobs to do and the shitty contextual dialogue, and there's no minigames or anything else to do.

The free updates are nothing but features New Leaf had in its launch 7 years ago, retard. They're not listening to shit, the game's still unfinished and 6 months of half-ass updates is just old NL content we should have already had from the start that they're pretending is new.

We have this shitty update format because they know ADHD retards in 2020 like you will think updates made of gutted content will make the game seem more active and extend how long you'll play and talk about it.

So we really have made it to where no microtransactions actually scores points for a game, huh. Yikes.
