Hmm well I suppose that's probably right. Kinda like you could can choose to the the full increase 2[C] or just time a regular 2C to catch the opponent falling from 22[B] before they hit the ground.

In nearly all cases you'd want the full 2[C] after the 22B unless you fucked up.
Mid-combo 5[C] is probably scaled to hell but it's not like I've tried it a lot

Sometimes I don't feel confident enough to get the input early enough so I opt for the lesser damage 2C but I understand the consequences haha. It certainly feels harder to even get mid-combo 5[C] going but maybe that's just because it's not really seen too often to get motivation to practice it.
