People who haven't actually played the game hate it.

Interesting...

only beat survivor, how's grounded?

The game is way more "gamey" than it's given credit for

I played on Hard and enjoyed it. I might bump it to Survivor next playthrough, but Grounded. I don't know, man...

MUUUUUUUUULTIPLAAAAAAAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIVE IT TO MEEEEEE

OP is a mentally ill tranny.

Sorry but I don't want to sit through hours of uninteresting story with even more uninteresting characters just to get to the "fun" parts. They literally pull the "whoa character is dead out of nowhere" trope 4 fucking times in this shit stain of a story.

Part 1 is also a good challenge on grounded
It says playstation there so people in here will automatically call it movie game regardless

This

Sonyfag revisionism in full effect here. Ignore OP's attempts to brainwash you.

loved it on normal

OMG!!! This is the greatest game ever made, I totally loved 100% completing this game!!! This is a perfect video game and I love it so much I'm going to play it again tomorrow!!!

They hate that last of us and its sequel redefined what a video game can be. Most ordinary people think video games are just bing bing toys for children, but the more games like last of us that are made (and there will be), the faster that stigma will change.

Significantly harder and better. I played the game when it came out on Survivor and my biggest problem with the game was that it was disappointingly easy for no reason. Grounded (with Per-Chapter checkpoints) is perfect.

- Listen mode is gone and the upgrade trees are rearranged and rebalanced around the omission of the LM perks
- Fewer pills and parts, but still present everywhere they should be
- DRASTICALLY less crafting materials, which is great because I was always maxed out on tools on Survivor and it was stupid. Everything you craft better be worth it.
- About half as much ammo or less, but still just about enough so far for me (almost to the end of Seattle Day 1)
- Minimal HUD, no droning sound when you're sighted, no hit ticks
- More perceptive enemies, but their reaction times are still the same, and all health values are still the same (however, they removed the damage upgrade options on the guns that had it)

It's a bunch of subtle things that force you to pay more attention to the game as designed and make every bullet count and tool used count more. The minimal HUD and lack of artificial audio cues makes the game more immersive, and playing with Per-Chapter Permadeath makes you sweat buckets about not dying, and better appreciate the distinct levels this game has (there are 45 chapters in the game).

I died like 30 times on the first gunfight in the elementary school because I had to relearn how to actually play the game lol. Now I've gotten the hang of it and it fucking rules.

this

Plus bad writing.

If you had actually played the game you'd be aware there's like 25 hours of gameplay and 5 hours of story (most of which is skippable). Playing on Grounded will make that gameplay occupy twice as much time.

>- Listen mode is gone and the upgrade trees are rearranged and rebalanced around the omission of the LM perks
I will now replay your game

Here, have a (You)

You must be so desperate

I don't think OPs get (You)s m8

These over opinionated people who love too shit on this game should actually play the game before shitting on it

Grow up and get a life please

Beautiful. Based Ellie poster returns!

You're on the side who had a month-long online tantrum over the death of a fictional character. And you're telling me to grow up. LOL

>if you play on the "dilate" difficulty, turn off aim assist, desactivate the "it's shit on purpose" aiming mechanics, upgrade your skilltree and play another game on the side it's akshually great!
the absolute state of snoys

Don't forget the walking and talking that takes up a third of it

I wasn't one of the ones complaining I just thought it was funny how some people think that this game is like the second coming of christ. Like this is what society has come to and people think it's Okay to worship this shit

You mean the extra difficulty mode added AFTER the game's release?

Fuck off idiot cunt.

Tranny simps still doing damage control for this mess.

Nah not the main guy, I am waiting for his return also!

We stealing reddit memes now?

The statement is dumbly worded, but nonetheless entirely true.

No, I still have aim assist on default (maxed, lol, but I have Aim Lock-On disabled which is a separate thing). The aiming mechanics are fine and everything about Grounded is well-considered and non-gimmicky.

It's the best cinematic action game ever made, and nothing else comes close. This stands regardless of whatever your politics are, provided that you actually care about videogames.

It's entirely common and expected in these years for a game to be not released in definitive form. Survivor being disappointingly easy was by far the biggest problem I had with the game on launch, but most of the faggots here didn't even play it on that mode (or they just *watched* someone else play the game) because they do not actually care about videogames.

>on Grounded
It's this meme again.

It's no meme. It's a great and proper difficulty mode.

I didn't get to play it in TLOU1, but I heard in that game it's basically Brick Mode. There's barely any bricks or bottles in TLOU2 so it doesn't have that problem.

I played it on Normal and loved it. The gameplay is exactly the same you nimrod, except for listening mode. Having resources does not make it more of a 'game'.

I played on Normal and it makes it toouch of a "shooter" imo

>I played it on Normal and loved it. The gameplay is exactly the same you nimrod, except for listening mode. Having resources does not make it more of a 'game'.

No, because having 4X as much ammo and tools makes it more of a generic third-person-shooter which you can just lazily bullshit through instead of an actual game where you have to actually think and make decisions and exercise caution and planning. It de-emphasizes the stealth and survival aspects that make The Last of Us distinctive in the genre.

If you didn't play on at least Survivor, you didn't actually play the game, and even then Survivor is only half the experience that Grounded is.

>Snoys cope by moving the goal line using difficulty
Is it too late to tell you not to cut off your dick you delusional faggot

>beat the game on Survivor, mostly tedious with a few genuinely good combat scenarios (probably like 5 but no more than 10 throughout the whole game)
>only a few trophies short of Platinum so I decided to go for it (mainly missing maxing out Abby's weapons and stats), it takes like FOUR FUCKING HOURS to get to Abby even if you're playing on the easiest difficulty and avoiding encounters and skipping cutscenes
>sound design is actually not that great if you're just trying to use your ears to get around, especially with good headphones (doesn't really help, even Stalkers are easier to just bait and destroy than to sneak up on)
>replaying combat scenarios spawns you with the barest of barebones weapons/resources/equipment
I'm not falling for you waifufags and your shill bullshit, there's no way the game is better with a removed HUD and tweaked settings. Only multi-player can save this shitshow, save your shilling for that
